AUTOMATIC LUBRICATION FOR PROPEL BEARINGS AND ROLLER CIRCLE (CONT'D.)

The system provides lubricant to 48 points on the propel mechanism, 12 points on the center journal sleeve and 60 points on the roller circle. The amount of lubricant supplied to each point, during each cycle, is controlled by the number and size of the injector(s), serving each point. Further adjustments can be made by controlling the time cycle and/or by means of an adjusting screw located at the top of each il1jector. Each injector is set for maximum delivery during break-in. This setting should not be changed during initial (break-in) operation of the machine. The system is time clock controlled and provides for one (1) cycle every three minutes, only during propel. A manual push button overrider will actuate the system at any other time desired. If the system does not complete its cycle, within two minutes, an alarm sounds and a red light will indicate lubrication system failure.

CAUTION: The upper frame must be stationary during time required to serve the roller circle. Be sure to disconnect the hose from the roller circle after greasing and before operating the machine. The alarm will sound to indicate: 1. A break in any main supply line to the injector. 2. Lack of proper air supply. 3. Blocked supply line. 4. Empty or cavitated lubricant supply drum. 5. Faulty pump or control system.

The air pressure regulator is set at 70 psi and end of the line pressure switches, @2500 psi.
