OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS RH 340 OPeration Emergency - stop
The EMERGENCY STOP switches must be used only in emergencies. With the EMERGENCY STOP button, the entire electrical system is interrupted in all poles by the onboard circuit breaker.
 When the fault has been located and rectified, the EMERGENCY STOP switches must be unlocked.  Switch on circuit breaker (see "Switching on the circuit breaker").
Even after actuation of the EMERGENCY STOP button, medium voltage (6.6 KV) is present (primarily) from the transformer station via drag cable and slip ring assembly to the circuit breaker.

 Press in EMERGENCY OFF switches (31, Fig. 2-83: and / or (3, Fig. 2-84:)  Press in switch (4, Fig. 2-84:)  Pull out EMERGENCY OFF switch (6, Fig. 2-85:) When the EMERGENCY STOP switches are pressed resp. pulled out they engages automatically in OFF position.
