CD98A022 Move the throttle lever to midway position. In cold weather, place it in maximum speed position.

STEP 5

CD98A017 Place the control lever locking lever in the unlocked position.

CD98B001 Turn the key to the starting position. Release the key as soon as the engine starts to turn. If the engine stops, wait about a minute and recommence the operation. IMPORTANT: Do not operate the starter motor for more than twenty seconds at one time. Do not operate the starter motor when the engine is running. IMPORTANT: Once the engine is running, let it warm up until a constant idle speed is obtained.
