3c.4 Auto Start Stop system

The 911 Carrera vehicles as of model year 2012 feature an Auto Start Stop system. There is an additional check valve installed in the hydraulic control unit so that the clutches and oil supply ducts do not drain when the engine is switched off.

The "Quickstart" function supplies hydraulic pressure oil to the clutches while the engine is starting so that the power transmission can be established without delay when the engine is restarting.

Due to the modification of the additional shut-off the hydraulic control unit must on no account be replaced with one without check valve (or vice versa).
