MANUFACTURING & ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY Hennepin Technical College is a member of the 360° Manufacturing and Applied Engineering ATE Regional Center of Excellence and the Minnesota Center for Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence. HTC is one of the few colleges that teach a full two-year discipline in Fluid Power Engineering Technology. HTC’s virtual manufacturing lab is equipped with high-tech simulation technologies. The Machine Tool Technology Program is an authorized HAAS training center offering one of just two Swiss-style machining programs at Minnesota State colleges. NIMS certification is available. Automation Robotics Engineering Technology program is the first in Minnesota to become a factory-certified training and education site for the FANUC Robotics Material Handling equipment and software. Welding and Metal Fabrication students benefit from hands on skillbuilding through virtual and online learning outside of class.
