An Individualized Studies Degree program offers:

Flexible degree programming allows you to combine a variety of college courses in your area of career interest Development of the specialized skills you need to begin or advance your career Ability to meet individual career goals not represented in other degree offerings Choices in your area of specialization with a 60 credit degree

Options to attend classes part-time or full-time and on campus or online Transfer into Metropolitan State University’s Individualized Studies baccalaureate degree and other universities

How does the Individualized Studies degree option work?

Students construct a degree plan through consultation with HTC faculty and industry representatives. A key component of the degree is a required two-credit planning course. The planning course offers career development theory and resources, contacts, and the skills necessary to design a degree program. HTC faculty will work with you every step of the way to earn an A.S. or an A.A.S. degree in Individualized Studies.

The career opportunities for this degree are as numerous as the potential individualized degree plans. Each degree plan will focus on a specific career goal. You design the degree. You earn the degree. You will realize the advantages of building a career that is enhanced by a degree truly suited to you as an individual.
