1721 Webster is an upcoming 24-story residential tower with 247 units and a multi-level parking structure. The building will also have ground-level retail and office space on the fourth floor. After years of struggling to attract investment, downtown Oakland is enjoying a renaissance. As Oakland continues to evolve, attracting more residents and businesses, investors are eager to participate in the city's cultural revitalization. 1721 Webster is one of several new towers that are dramatically reshaping the city's downtown area.
Helix's scope of work on this design-build project includes all base electrical and fixture package, fire alarm, security systems and telecommunications/data. About working on 1721 Webster, Project Manager Samir Snagic said, "We are proud to work on such a sophisticated building and to participate in the big improvement that downtown Oakland has gone through in the last couple years."
