Handicap System
• Saturday, August 29, 2020 » First Gun @ 1400 hours
• ORR-EZ Time on Time.
• Sunday, August 30, 2020
• If a competitor does not have an ORR-EZ certificate, a handicap will be assigned
» First Gun @ 1200 hours
• Up to three (3) races are scheduled per day
• Scratch sheets will be posted on line by 0900 hrs. August 29, 2020
• The last race on Sunday will be a fleet race back to his/her home port. Time to be taken by each boat at finish lines to be determined.
Rules
Starting Line
• This regatta will be governed by the rules as defined by the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS).
Rendezvous in the vicinity of Hospital Shoals Can - Mark “32” (refer to the MBSA List C)
• RRS 82 will not apply.
Courses
Radio Communications
• The courses will be a windward/leeward format except for the last race on Sunday • No races will start after 1700 hrs. on Saturday or 1600 hrs. on Sunday • T ime limit of TWO (2) hours for any one race except for the fleet race back to one’s home port.
• RC will monitor channel 68 and may communicate with competing boats including starting penalties. • Yachts must notify RC if withdrawing from a race.

• Will be posted online by 2000 hrs. August 28, 2020. • There will be no captains’ meeting
Competitors in this event are participating entirely at their own risk, see RRS 4, Decision to race. By participating in this event, each competitor agrees to release the race organizers, (Organizing Authority, host yacht club, Race Committee, Protest Committee, Sponsors, chairs and others acting in an official capacity for this event) to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Eligibility and Entries
Hospitality
• This regatta is open to all boats with a valid ORR-EZ or PHRF certificate as determined by the OA. Splits will be determined by rig configuration, length, SA/D, and observed performance.
• Competitors and guests are invited to use the club facilities during the regatta. • Free moorings will be available to competitors on a first-come/first-serve basis. To reserve a mooring, contact: Hull YC by phone at (781) 925-9739 or on channel 71 or Hingham YC phone at (617) 827-8109
Sailing Instructions
• This is NOT a MBSA event. • No points will be awarded. • There will be no trophy presentation.
