If you like to compete in pursuit style races these are the events for you.
Trophies will be awarded at the annual Mass Bay Sailing Awards dinner to be held Friday November 20, 2020 atCottage ParkYachtClub in Winthrop, MAto the top three qualifiers in each class (Spinnaker, Jib&Main) scoring the best fourout of the following eleven pursuit races:

High point scoring for a boat’s best four events will be used. Each event will be scored as follows: Each boat gets 10 points for starting the race plus 1 point for each boat it beats in its class. Boats scored DNF or OCS receive their starting points only. Boats scored DNS or DNC receive no points.
Qualification for the Pursuit Championship requires: 1. Receiving points in at least three (3) qualifying events designated with a “P”. 2. Paid membership to Mass Bay Sailing Association for 2020 BY AUG 15 th .
