Este sábado, 24 de marzo, jornada de elecciones en el Club de Golf La Cañada. Los socios del campo municipal votan este sábado al que será su próximo presidente, a decidir entre las dos candidaturas que concurren a las urnas. Por un lado, está la candidatura de José Chapaza que se presenta a la reelección y que actualmente ocupa la presidencia; mientras que la candidatura alternativa la lidera Ángel Gutiérrez, ex presidente de La Cañada y que precedió al propio Chapaza en el cargo. Según informó el propio club a El Periódico de Sotogrande; la votación (según los estatu-
tos), debe ser directa, sin delegación y presencial el propio 24 de marzo entre las 9:00 y las 20:00 horas. Para ejercer el voto es necesario una acreditación identificativa. Además, advierte que “solamente pueden votar los socios de número con la letra A y los de honor”. El lugar de la votación será el almacén de la propia tienda en la Casa Club de La Cañada, situado en la parte primera de la habitación, ubicación en la que se situará la urna. Los socios dispondrán de papeletas de cada de las candidaturas en color blanco a tamaño cuartilla. También estarán disponibles sobres blancos. Para que
el voto sea válido la papeleta debe ir dentro del mismo sobre. El recuento de votos lo realizarán a puerta cerrada los cinco miembros de la comisión electoral y el gerente. Mencionar que los programas electorales se encuentras, según informó el club, en la página web de La Cañada, en la zona exclusiva de socios además del tablón de anuncios del propio club.

Aguilar y Carretero, de La Cañada Golf, vencedores al inicio del Pequecircuito Los más pequeños fueron los protagonistas en el arranque de una nueva edición del Pequecircuito de Andalucía que inauguró su temporada 2018 en los recorridos pares tres de Almerimar Golf, Benalmádena Golf y Sherry Golf Jerez. En total, fueron más de un centenar los jugadores menores de 12 años que se dieron cita en este primer encuentro del año y que disputaron 9 hoyos bajo modalidad stroke play scratch en una de las competiciones más divertidas y entrañables del calendario de actividades federativo. El campo jerezano de Sherry Golf acogió a más de ochenta jugadores, que disfrutaron de una divertida jornada de golf, tras la cual Cristóbal Gil (Club de Golf Benahavís) y Ángeles Urquijo (Real Club Pineda de Sevilla) fueron los mejores en categoría Alevín, con 36 y 42 golpes, respectivamente. Entre los benjamines de 9 y 10 años, la también federada por Pineda, Caridad Cabello, y Álvaro Aguilar, del Club de Golf La Cañada, se subió al primer puesto con 35 y 34 golpes. Entre los más pequeños, hay que felicitar a Salvador Eugenio Carretero del Club La Cañada por sus vueltas de 45 y 32 golpes, que le dieron la victoria. Finalmente, Benalmádena Golf acogió a un centenar de jugadores en la zona central. Daniel Blanco (Alhaurín Golf), con 35 golpes, y Alejandra Cervera (Alcaidesa Links), con 33, ocuparon los primeros puestos en categoría Alevín.

zed ballots for each of the candidates. White envelopes will also be available. In order for the vote to be valid, the ballot paper needs to be put into the envelope. The vote count will take place behind closed doors by the five members of the electoral committee and the manager. It should be mentioned that, according to the club the electoral programs are available on the La Cañada website, in the exclusive area for members, as well as on the notice board at the club itself.
The little ones were the stars at the start of a new edition of the Andalusian´s Children´s Circuit which began its 2018 season at the par three courses at Almerimar Golf, Benalmádena Golf and Sherry Golf Jerez. In total, more than one hundred players under the age of 12 gathered at the first event of the year and played 9 holes under the scratch play format in one of the most entertaining and pleasant competitions in the calendar of federative activities. The Sherry Golf course in Jerez welcomed more than eighty players, who enjoyed a fun day of golf, after which Cristóbal Gil (Club de Golf Benahavís) and Ángeles Urquijo (Real Club Pineda de Sevilla) were the best in the Under-12´s category, with 36 and 42 shots, respectively.
