Benalup acoge el Torneo Bridgestone

El pasado 14 de agosto, se celebró por primera vez en las instalaciones de Benalup Golf & Countr y Club el torneo Bridgestone, realizado anteriormente en diferentes campos de golf de la provincia de Cádiz. El torneo se desarrollo en la modalidad Individual Stableford, con salida al tiro a las 9 horas, una participación de 72 personas y dos categorías. La jornada se desarrollo con una gran participación de los aficionados de este deporte a disfrutar un buen día, gracias a la climatología que palió los efectos del calor del mes de agosto. Al final de la jornada, se degustó un almuerzo en la casa Club acompañado por una entrega de premios en el jardín. La entrega de premio participo el distribuidor de España de la firma Bridgestone,
Stefan Tjellander, así cómo el director del campo de golf, Ángel Durán. El premio a la primera categoría lo recibió Francisco Domínguez, mientras que Cristóbal Pavón hizo lo propio en la segunda categoría. El drive más largo fue para Jo de Backer y Bo Zaine, entre los caballeros y señoras respectivamente. El premio a la bola más cercana fue para Jamme Sommers Cardoem. Durante la jornada del día anterior se realizó un Ball Fitting Challenge utilizando la misma tecnología que usan los profesionales para encontrar la bola adecuada, organizado y dirigido por Stefan Tjellander en una sesión de 15 minutos y de forma gratuita dictaminando la bola que mejor se adapta al juego. Tras el Ball fitting se realizó un concurso de putting green en el que ganó Miguel de la Cruz.

sionals use to find the right ball. It was organised and run by Stefan Tjellander in a fifteen-minute session and free of charge, deciding which ball is best suited to the player’s game. After the ball fitting there was a putting green competition, won by Miguel de la Cruz.
