Dear Resident, Reference: Mowbrays Close Semi-Independent Accommodation I am writing to let you know that the London Borough of Havering have now been granted planning permission to begin works on the new Social Care Service at Mowbrays Close, Romford, RM5 3HJ. The service here will provide a vital opportunity for adults with learning disabilities to live well in their local community while supported to live as independently as possible. There

will be staff available to make sure that residents always have access to guidance, support and advice if they need it.

This accommodation will help London Borough of Havering to keep these residents close to existing support networks and avoid the need for out of borough placements. The scheme provides a vital opportunity to live independently, while at the same time, in a supported environment.
