Yesterday, we officially opened registraton for the pastors and leaders training event we will be hosting in October atour headquarters office in Indianapolis. I am very excited aboutthis opportunity. In response to feedback we received last year, we are opening this educational event to church leaders as well as pastors. We have designed it to focus on both preaching and general church leadership, so that we all can find new tools to add to our leadership tool belts.
The event is AMP2024
AMP stands for Amplified Motivational Preaching, and there will definitely be sessions specifically targeted toward pastors, but this year, we are expanding the focus to include general leadership strategies and principles that will sharpen us as people and godly servants.
This event will inspire and equip us and will be worth the investment! Attendance at AMP2024 will meet the annual requirement for Continuing Education Units.
In order to help EMC pastors and church leaders, the General Board of Evangelism is offering to invest thousands of dollars in scholarships to assist in the overall cost. Registration for AMP2024 is $200, but there are half, and full scholarships available. They must be requested at registration. As of today, there are still some full scholarships available so please act quickly if you need one. But after those are gone, twenty half scholarships will be available to keep your cost down in order to help you attend.
These sessions will be powerful times together, and we will enjoy a special visit by singer, author, and songwriter, Gloria Gaither (and her husband Bill is trying to work his schedule to come too!)
