CONCEPT STATEMENT IDEAS TURF LOVE Sports can foster a spirit of seemingly innocent tough love, with parents pushing their children to a path they might not enjoy. BENDING THE RULEBOOK Sports can be quite strict, leading players to have to follow defined rules, which can especially be hard for a child. They often want to explore outside the rules, breaking them or seeing how far they can push within them. THE PATH THROUGH HOCKEY & PARENTING Connecting with your child while also encouraging independence is a tough line to walk, and can lead to barriers getting struck before goals can be.
