pro project The goal of this project was to design and create our own font based on a modular system. After designing out font, we also created style tool kits to demonstrate the capabilites and characteristics of our typefaces. We used these toolkits and animations that we made to make a post on Behance demonstrating our font and its uses. I greatly enjoyed this project, as I found learning to create my own font made me want to consider my typographic choices even more. This project also led me to discovering some more fonts that I enjoy using, like the font Como, This project also gave me my own font that I can use in future projects, and to me that is the coolest product I’ve gotten from a project this year!

ch my choice Part of why I picked this font was the shape. I quite like round fonts, and this font has an nteresting juxtaposition between the round and linear elements. I also chose this font because I think it has a good modular structure, with the arches and straight lines. Rounding the edges of these lines helps it to fit with the arches, too. I think the font could serve well as a unique display font that could be used alongside a sans serif font for body text. I think it would make for a very strong and dynamic pairing.
