ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR MANY!
We have celebrated and shared our 40th anniversary in various forums, and now this milestone year is coming to an end. Like most companies, we’ve evolved over the years alongside our customers, driven by the initiatives of our owners and our dedicated staff. Our anniversary year has also coincided with many of you, our valued customers and partners.
It’s inspiring and exciting to learn about your origins, the entrepreneurs who invested their time and soul into starting these businesses, which have since developed and managed by your owners and employees. In Sweden, both Linde Material Handling and Systemtruckar are celebrating 50 years, VETTER in Germany is marking 60 years, and Cebriá in Spain is celebrating 50 years. Undoubtedly, there are more anniversaries in our industry this year. We want to extend a big congratulations to all celebrating companies and wish you continued success.
A trend we see is more forklifts being equipped with the option for three hydraulic functions directly from the factory. Our positioners are adapted to each forklift’s specifications, using direct connections or solenoid valves as needed. Take a look at the article to see how a six-hose solution can look on one of our positioners.
Our journey toward becoming a more comprehensive supplier of system solutions continues, with exciting new partnerships. Earlier this year, we embarked on a new chapter with OilQuick. OilQuick’s automatic quick couplers combined with Hagaberg positioners, Cebriá clamps, rotators, and other attachments deliver efficient and safe solutions across several industries. In this issue, you can read about our latest partner – Tesmatic. Their precise and efficient weighing systems are easy to install on forklifts, and provide numerous benefits to material handling operations, including reduced accident risks, more efficient loading/unloading, and integrated goods weighing.

HOLIDAY SCHEDULE
A brief note on a few schedule changes during the holiday season! Our production and customer service will be closed from Friday, December 20th, at 12:00. We will reopen on Thursday, January 2nd.
In 2024, Hagaberg is supporting the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund for long-term research in the fight against childhood cancer. We also support WWF Sweden in their mission to preserve our planet’s nature and ecological diversity.

PART NEWS
SPARE PART FORKS IN STOCK
After some dedicated work, we have now built up an inventory of spare part forks for the C-series and E-series, which are now available on the shelf for immediate delivery. The available capacities are 2.5, 3.5, and 5.0 tons, with lengths of 1200, 1600, 1800, and 2400 mm. These forks can also be shortened to other lengths upon request. Adjusting forks to a different length typically takes a few days.
NEW FUNCTION!
We are delighted to welcome back a familiar face – Lotta Skönvall has returned from parental leave, now in a new role! Starting in October, Hagaberg’s customer service team will have a position entirely dedicated to spare parts. This will allow us to create a more efficient and manageable flow between order handling and spare parts administration.

How long have you been working at Hagaberg? 13 years now!
What was your first job? I started as an assembler of tractor cabins in 1974.
Do you remember your first day at Hagaberg? Of course! I started in the welding robot section. There was a day or so of training, but I had experience and soon managed on my own.
What is your area of expertise as a welder? With long experience, I would say versatility and problem-solving.
What makes welders at Hagaberg so skilled? You have to be able to find solutions and work as a team. Otherwise, it shows in the product. But Hagaberg is good at this. We are good at knowing what our customers want throughout the whole process.
How is the atmosphere at work? It’s fun to work here! Really fun! Always a lot of new things. We are constantly evolving.
What are the challenges?
There’s always something new to manufacture, even so we have to fully understand and meet the customer’s needs. You have to be very flexible, and it’s one of our team’s greatest strengths. We have the experience and precision down to the millimeter.
Do you have a motto? Yes. Not assuming others are mean. Kindness and helpfulness are highly valued. Treat each other well.
SOLENOID VALVE VS 6 HOSE SOLUTION Solutions for three hydraulic functions
HAGABERG DELIVERS a large number of attachments with three hydraulic functions, such as attachments with KOOI® Reachforks and attachments with sideshift, fork positioners, and carriage tilt. The environment on forklifts varies, and it has been most common to support two hydraulic functions + an electrical cable for a solenoid valve, which allows the activation of the third function. However, several manufacturers are now equipping forklifts with 6 hoses (direct control of three hydraulic functions) directly from the factory. At Hagaberg, we support all environments and can offer optimized solutions for both solenoid valve and 6-hose systems, both while maintaining excellent visibility for maximum productivity and safety in the workplace.

– Roy Öhlin joins as Design Engineer
We are thrilled to expand the capacity of our design department and maintain an ideal balance between engineering Research/ Development.
Roy’s entry as Design Engineer will aid us in continuing to develop innovative and complex solutions matching the rate of the company’s growth and expanding product range. This is particularly important considering our ongoing partnerships, such as OilQuick® and Cebriá, and the expanding range of applications our products support. With a solid background as a project engineer in construction and extensive experience working closely on customer-specific adaptations, Roy checks all the boxes to become a valuable asset in his new role at Hagaberg.

WE ARE NOW CHANGING OUR LEGAL COMPANY NAME
As of 2024-10-23, Hagabergs Mekaniska AB have changed its legal company name, and we are now called Hagaberg Industrier AB. The reason for the change was to bring our company name closer to our brand name and thereby simplify all types of communication. Our company name needs to be updated in your systems, but everything else remains the same—just with a name that reflects who we are even better!
