In this issue of Position, we focus on customer relationships in various forms and highlight one of our fork positioners – this time featuring an integrated camera solution.
We view customer relationships as all the points of contact we have with our customers – where we aim to show our reliability and create a positive experience. In this issue, you’ll meet Mathilda, one of our dedicated customer service colleagues. It’s truly a privilege to have her on our team – someone who enjoys her role and genuinely values connecting with our customers. We’re also pleased to introduce Claus, our new Area Sales Manager for Denmark, Norway, and Iceland. With a humble approach, extensive experience in the forklift industry, and a solution-oriented mindset, he’s a team member who truly understands your needs and expectations.
Alongside our experienced, dedicated team, we are also strengthening our market presence and creating platforms to support your business and relationships with end customers. For the second year in a row, we exhibited at LogiMAT in Stuttgart. This dynamic meeting place for the material handling industry is gaining momentum. This year, we noticed an increase in visitors from the Nordics and countries outside Germany – a clear sign for us to start planning for LogiMAT 2026.
With our new demo bus, it’s now easier to get out and demonstrate the functions, customizations, and advantages of our products. We can join you for internal sales meetings at your site, customer days, or joint visits with your sales representatives to end customers.
The demand for safer, yet more efficient, material handling solutions continues to grow. This issue features one of our positioners equipped with a SmartFork camera system. In addition to cameras, we offer system solutions for both traditional forklifts and AGVs, with sensors and communication interfaces such as I/O-Link, CANopen, and more.
So, what is our most important mission - To maintain a high level of service and continuously improve performance and safety with our products.
We wish you an enjoyable read and a great summer!

MATHILDA ANDERSSON ORDER ADMINISTRATOR HI!
How long have you worked at Hagaberg Mathilda? It will be 6 years this year!
What is your role?
I receive and processes all our incoming orders. In combination, I also handle a lot of customer service errands.
What is the best thing about your role?
In my role, I collaborate with most of my colleagues and many of our customers, daily which really suits me!
A fork is not always called a fork?
NEW
It’s the fork in particular that is named very differently depending on where you are! Plank, blade, claw. Go with what you prefer! Who knows, a new name might pop up soon. Attachments can even go by sleds or tables.
Pit and peak moments of 2025 so far?
I’d say we went from pit to peak! After a long January with everyone in the family being sick at home a lot, we finally made it off to Thailand!
Any vacation plans?
I’m looking forward to a relaxing summer. The weather really must cooperate - otherwise, we’ll end up renovating the house the whole time. It’s great when it’s done and just the way we want it, but we’d like to avoid working all vacation!
SMARTFORK® SIDECAM
- Safety with precision
SmartFork® SideCam, here neatly installed on a Hagaberg C35. A compact and robust camera house is partially integrated into the inside of the fork, designed to protect the lens while providing a clear view forward. Via the monitor in the cab, you know exactly where your forks are when approaching the load. The driver doesn’t have to turn their neck, lean around corners or guess the position of the load - a win for both ergonomics and safety around the truck.
Loading and unloading are critical moments, but visibility is often limited and control reduced. A clear line of sight along the forks is especially valuable when lifting high or working in confined spaces.
Hagaberg fork positioners are designed for maximum visibility and all models are compatible with SmartFork® solutions. The SmartFork® product range is developed by our partner VETTER Industrie, with exclusive production in Germany. Every application is clever on their own but are advantageously combined for
even more intelligent solutions.
Combine SideCam with FrontCam for optimal visibility along, as well as, in front of the load. An additional camera in the tip of the fork provides a perfect overview of everything that is happening in front of the load. The camera image automatically switches from SideCam to FrontCam when the load is picked up.
SideCam: View along the forks while entering the load.
FrontCam: View in front of the load while lifting and transporting.
The camera cable is fully integrated into the fork and then routed along the back of the fork to the Wifi transmitter. The transmitter is placed in front of the mast and does not obstruct the view.
WELCOME CLAUS LINDGAARD
As Area Sales Manager for Denmark, Iceland, and Norway, Claus will be a great asset – both for us and for our customers across the region.
We are excited to welcome Claus to the Hagaberg team as our new Area Sales Manager for Denmark, Norway, and Iceland. Claus brings with him over ten years of experience in the material handling industry, having started as Service Coordinator and from there stepped into roles as Workshop Manager, Product Manager and Area Sales Manager. ”As Workshop Manager I gained a lot of experience into the technical side that has helped me in my work as Area Sales Manager. The role as Product Manager taught me to have a focus on details, specifications of the products and the customer’s needs”.
This combination of technical know-how and customer focus makes Claus a team member with a clear understanding of customer expectations and the ability to find the right solutions for different applications.
”I like the idea of working with a product where we as a company and producers listen to the customer’s needs and aim to develop solutions that are not just standard but something specialized,” he explains
He also highlights high-end quality and best-in-class visibility of Hagaberg attachments as key product advantages.
Some of you may already have had the pleasure of meeting Claus as he stepped into his role with great enthusiasm. ”I’m looking forward to meeting all our customers – both new and existing. I hope to help them find the best solutions and not compromises”, he adds.
When he’s not working to solve customers’ challenges, Claus enjoys staying active. Last year, he completed his first full marathon in Copenhagen, following many half-marathons over the past 15 years. ”I hope to run a full marathon in one of the major European cities – or maybe even outside of Europe,” he shares. On any regular day, he enjoys long walks with his wife and going with the kids to their various sports events.
With his experience, energy, and customer-focused mindset, Claus is a fantastic addition to the Hagaberg team!
