Rosa Simon Music Workshop & Concert Saturday June 6th We've got lots of enthusiastic children signed up for the Rosa Simon Music Fund Workshop and Concert on Saturday June 6th at the Hadleigh United Reformed Church. We now just need an audience - we just need you to come along! So if you want to see and hear a dazzling range of musical styles and lots of different songs which the children will have rehearsed at the earlier workshop run by renowned jazz musician Pete Letanka - please come to the concert! Tickets costs £5 each (under fives go free) and can be purchased from the receptions at St. Mary's Primary School and the Hadleigh Community Primary School or by emailing: danton89@hotmail.com. The workshop and concert is funded by the Rosa Simon Music Fund and any monies made will be reinvested in the Fund in supporting local musical projects for children.
With money from Rosa’s Fund, we’ve invited 60 local pupils aged between nine and 12 or so to join jazz pianist and composer Pete Letanka in an exciting music workshop during the morning of June 6th. They will be writing and rehearsing pieces of music and using some of the instruments bought via Rosa’s Fund. In the afternoon, the children will be performing these pieces in a concert which is open to the general public and to which we’d really love you to come.
3pm in the United Reformed Church, Market Place Tickets cost £5 (under-fives on laps free) with tea and coffee afterwards. All monies go to the Rosa Simon Music Fund Tickets are available via the participating schools, Keith Avis Newsagents or by emailing: danton89@hotmail.com
