Welcome
Thank you for showing an interest in our firm and the opportunities we can provide for your continued learning and experience in the workplace.
With 180 years of heritage, Greenslade Taylor Hunt is one of the longest established firms of chartered surveyors, auctioneers, property specialists and letting agents in the West Country.
Retaining our independent status, we are a firm that cares about our clients’ interests and one that can help with an array of property needs across Somerset, Devon, Dorset and Cornwall.
Our strong reputation in the West Country has been earned as a result of the professionalism, expertise and client relationships acquired since 1843. We continue to provide advice and support through the ever-changing challenges and opportunities our clients face.
The collective experience of our partners and experienced staff is brought together to enable clients to get the most from their property assets. We have been a part of the rural community for generations and pride ourselves on serving it.
What We Do
The services we provide are diverse and touch most aspects of the world of property. Be that bricks and mortar for residential or commercial sale or let, land, farms, development opportunities, antiques, livestock, machinery and crops as well as professional services to help people get the most from their property assets. The list is extensive.
But we don’t just sell or let property and stop there. We’re about providing solid, dependable advice to every client. Some of whom trust us for many years, and it’s not unusual for us to help generations of the same family with their property decisions.

What Is It Like?
“The placement year has provided a fantastic opportunity to apply technical knowledge learned in the lecture theatre into the professional working environment whilst developing a further understanding. Being part of a team with rural expertise, experience and diverse departments, together with a fun working environment, has made my time with GTH first-class and I am very much looking forward to where this experience takes me.”
Mollie Gillard Trainee Agricultural Surveyor“I find it a lot more enjoyable and interesting learning on the job instead of sitting in a classroom. I feel I gain a greater depth of knowledge by learning whilst working. My boss has been the main support during my time at GTH, he has gone above and beyond to help me.”

Our Community
As part of the fabric of the West Country for so many years, we feel it’s only right to put something back into our local communities.
