The Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians held its 2% allocation on January 30th at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa. The distribution of $854,574.38 of gaming revenue allocation was awarded to local units of government. The dollars have been allocated for 60 local applicants as part of the Tribe’s “2 percent allocation,” which takes place twice per year. Since the 2 percent allocation began in 1994, the Grand Traverse Band has allocated $41,049,342.47 to local organizations as a way to give back to the community and support local education public safety and health facilities. - by Jared Sonderegger, Editor

Note: We do not have a shared database with Membership so information will need to be changed with us as well
Upcoming Hunting Dates: Spring Turkey season starts April 15th & goes through June 30th ~ all licenses will need to be renewed to receive your Turkey harvest tags!
A new beachfront has been established on M-22 in Peshawbestown. We need your help to come up with a name for the beach. We will take your suggestions through April 30, 2020. A prize for the winner will be awarded! The winner will be announced at the Tribal Council Regular Session Meeting scheduled for May 20th, 2020.
