Impact & Updates for Supporters

A note from our Girl Scout sister, Christina Boyle

Hi! My name is Christina Boyle. I am the Troop Leader for Troop 68 out of Hickman, Kentucky.

I am also a Service Unit Manager, Area Vice Chair, member of our Board of Directors, a volunteer trainer, volunteer recruiter, the volunteer coordinator for Via Colori Street Painting Festival, and a legacy donor.

In my opinion, it is so incredibly important to leave a legacy with Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana, because not only are we helping the girls of today, but we are building a solid foundation for the girls of the future.

My favorite part about doing all I do is watching girls grow and succeed in life. On top of that is the lifelong friendships that not only my girls have made, but I have made as well!

As a legacy donor, I know that I am leaving crucial help to the girls of tomorrow and helping build a future for our amazing organization and community.

The purpose of the Girl Scouts Give patch program is to help you understand the importance of supporting your Girl Scout sisters through investments of your time, talent, and treasure.

Girl Scouts learn:

The first planned gift in the Girl Scout Movement came from our founder, Juliette Gordon Low. After converting the carriage house of her home into the first Girl Scout national headquarters, she gifted the property to Girl Scouts in her will Become a member of the Juliette Gordon Low Society and carry on her legacy by making Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana a beneficiary of your estate plans.

Camp Shantituck Pool is Now Open!

In early 2023, Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana’s Board of Directors approved a $1 million capital campaign for needed renovations of the Camp Shantituck pool and shower house.
