Like many of you, my wife Theresa and I have been involved with Transition Projects for years, but this is my first year serving as event Chair. I am so delighted that you are joining us for this exciting evening. During an otherwise dark year, this year’s gala allows us the opportunity to honor the amazing accomplishments of the Transition Projects community who come together year after year to help our neighbors find their way home – truly making an impact! Theresa and I feel so fortunate to have met this wonderful community of staff members, volunteers, and supporters who make the work of Transition Projects possible. Now more than ever, our neighbors need our help to end their homelessness and get back into housing. I’m incredibly grateful that you’re here tonight and making a difference by investing in this work. At this year’s gala, you’ll meet three participants on their personal journeys out of homelessness. The stories you’ll hear are ones of hope, resilience, and grit. We hope they will inspire you to give generously this evening, and to look for ways in the future to advocate for others embarked on similar journeys.

INGREDIENTS & RECIPES Join Ryan, one of Portland’s top mixologists, and co-owner of Oven & Shaker, live online to create these cocktails at 5:30pm on April 3rd.
Honeywood
INGREDIENTS: • Barspoon x 1
• Benchmark No. 8 Kentucky Straight Bourbon x 1 bottle • Clover Honey x 12 oz. container • Whole limes x 5 each
RECIPE:
Step 1
Make your house blended clover honey syrup, by combining 8 oz. of honey to 4 oz. of hot water (stir until completely integrated)
Step 2
In a tumbler, add 2 oz. of whiskey, 1 oz. of freshly pressed lime juice, ¾ oz. of your house blended honey syrup, and ¾ oz cold water
Step 3
Stir swiftly for 3 seconds to integrate
Step 4
Fill glass with ice and garnish with a lime wedge

INGREDIENTS: • Barspoon x 1
• Aviation Gin x 1 bottle • Martini and Rossi Rosso x 1 small bottle • Yellow Chartreuse x 1 small bottle • Regan’s Orange Bitters x 1 bottle • Whole Lemon x 1 each
RECIPE:
Step 1
In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz. of Aviation Gin, 1/2 oz. Martini and Rossi Sweet Vermouth, ¼ oz. Yellow Chartreuse, 1 dash of orange bitters and fill with ice
Step 2
Using a barspoon, stir your mixture for 20 seconds
Step 3
Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with wide lemon disc

Maine-ly Picturesque: LITTLEFIELD HOUSE IN PERKINS COVE
In Perkins Cove, the view of the harbor and the salt air in every breath wakes you to reality that you are on vacation in Maine!
