THE ROLLING STONES IN CONCERT 21 June
The Rolling Stones return to Milan for a mega concert at San Siro. The legendary band performs at the Milanese stadium as part of its Sixty European tour, organised to mark 60 years since the Stones formed.
THE GREAT RETURN OF NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL LIVE MUSIC
2 to 8 September
Top-level European basketball comes to Milan with EuroBasket, the European championship of a sport with a keen following in the city. 24 teams have qualified for the competition, including Italy, Germany, Russia and France. The Mediolanum Forum in Assago (Milano) will host the Group C games, involving Greece, Croatia, Estonia, Ukraine and the UK as well as Italy. 10
