In der Ferienregion Hohe Salve sind Sie immer mobil, denn Ihre Gästekarte ist gleichzeitig eine gültige Fahrkarte für den öffentlichen Nahverkehr in der Region. So fahren Sie kostenlos, bequem und schnell direkt zur Talstation der Salvenbahn in Hopfgarten oder der neuen Salvistabahn in Itter.

Der Zug ist wohl die bequemste und mitunter schnellste Art, um in die Ferienregion Hohe Salve zu reisen. Am Hauptbahnhof Wörgl halten internationale Fernzüge aus allen Himmelsrichtungen, wie die beliebten Nachtreisezüge, die "Nightjets“, aus Düsseldorf, Hamburg oder Berlin. Mit der morgendlichen Ankunft im Skigebiet haben Sie einen zusätzlichen Skitag zur Verfügung.

Ein Tag mehr zum Skifahren

Hopfgarten hat mit der Salvenbahn auf die Hohe Salve den schönsten und wohl auch bequemsten Einstieg in die SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental. Mit dem Bahnhof "Hopfgarten Berglift" hält der Zug fast direkt an der Talstation. Von Itter aus starten die Skifahrer mit der neuen Salvistabahn in die SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental. Die Bergbahn auf die Kleine Salve ist direkt und bequem mit dem Skibus und den öffentlichen Buslinien erreichbar, so wie auch die Salvenbahn in Hopfgarten. Damit nicht genug! Wintersportler können ihre komplette Ausrüstung im luxuriösen Ski-Depot an einer der beiden Talstationen unterbringen. Sie reisen entspannt an, schlüpfen in die trockenen, vorgewärmten Skischuhe, steigen direkt in die Gondeln und sind in wenigen Minuten auf der Piste. Die gesamte Skiausrüstung kann vor Ort auch ausgeliehen werden.

Mit der Gästekarte immer mobil

Mit der Hohe-Salve-Gästekarte können Urlauber die Nahverkehrszüge der ÖBB in der Region Kitzbüheler Alpen uneingeschränkt nützen. Das Gleiche gilt für die regionalen Buslinien des VVT (Verkehrsverbund Tirol) in der Ferienregion Hohe Salve sowie nach Kitzbühel, Kundl und Breitenbach. Auch die Citybus-Linien in der Stadt Wörgl sind inkludiert. Sie fahren von Bruckhäusl bis zu den Wörgler Wasserwelten. Gemeinsam mit den bewährten Skibus- und Langlaufbuslinien sind so die wichtigsten Einstiegsstellen der Langlaufloipen und die verschiedenen Freizeiteinrichtungen in der Region schnell und direkt erreichbar. Das Auto kann also getrost stehen bleiben. ■

You are always mobile in the Holiday Region Hohe Salve, because your guest card also doubles up as a ticket for public transport in the region, so you can travel free, comfortably and quickly to the valley station of the Salvenbahn lift in Hopfgarten or the new Salvistabahn in Itter.

The most comfortable and perhaps one of the fastest ways to travel to the Holiday Region Hohe Salve is by train. International long-distance trains stop at Wörgl central station from all directions, such as the popular night trains, "Nightjets", from Düsseldorf, Hamburg or Berlin. By arriving at the ski resort first thing, you win a whole extra day of skiing.

One extra day of skiing

Hopfgarten enjoys the most beautiful and probably most comfortable entry point to SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental, with the Salvenbahn cable car to the Hohe Salve. The train stops almost directly at the valley station of the "Hopfgarten Berglift" cable car. From Itter, skiers commence their journey to SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental with the new Salvista lift. Ski bus and public bus services provide skiers with direct and comfortable access to the cable car to the Kleine Salve and Salvenbahn in Hopfgarten. But that’s not all! Winter sports enthusiasts can store their entire equipment in the luxurious ski depot at the valley station. Skiers arrive relaxed, slip into their prewarmed and dry ski boots and jump straight into the gondolas that whisk them to the slopes in just a few minutes. All ski equipment can be rented on site.

Always mobile with the guest card

The Hohe Salve Guest Card allows holidaymakers unrestricted use of ÖBB’s (Austrian Rail) local trains in the Kitzbühel Alps region. The same applies to the regional bus routes of the VVT (Verkehrsverbund Tirol – Transport Assoc.) in the Holiday Region Hohe Salve, as well as to Kitzbühel, Kundl and Breitenbach. The city bus lines in the town of Wörgl are also included, which operate from Bruckhäusl to the Wörgl Water Worlds. Together with the well-established ski bus and crosscountry-ski bus routes, the most important entry points for the cross-country ski trails and various leisure facilities in the region can be reached quickly and directly.
