WHAT HAVE WE DONE?!?!?!?!?! This is a question that can be asked in many ways. You either accentuate the WHAT, WE, or DONE and come up with very different answers. I’m adding emojis for my kids and grandkids to hopefully bring a smile to your face. WHAT we have accomplished is measurable and tangible. A new 640seat tent, a new executive director, two great venues at the Castle in the Clouds and Brewster Academy, exceptional program development, securing diligent and hardworking interns, increasing ticket sales, adding dedicated new Board and committee members, building relationships with many businesses and individuals in the Lakes Region, stewarding our donors and sponsors, creating a VIP welcome area before all shows, organizing fabulous Galas, creating great office space for our staff and guests to enjoy and so much more. Quite honestly, WE have done all of these things together. Our Board, committee members and staff have spent countless hours on Zoom and now happily in-person meetings fine-tuning each and every aspect of what makes Great Waters great. This WE very much include our unsung heroes, our volunteers, who give their time to make everything go smoothly, and our consultants who always go that extra mile. So, we have DONE a lot. There is so much to be proud of and be grateful for. None of this would have happened without our community’s financial support and ongoing encouragement. You believed in and invested in us, allowing us to grow. And grow we will, with your continued support. Please think of us when you hear the music that makes you cry and laugh and want to be together. With your generosity, WE can make even more extraordinary things happen.
