Sunshine Sonata by Peter Ferber

Sunshine Sonata by the late Peter Ferber is a beautiful reflection of music and place, created especially for Great Waters. The painting features a grand piano bathed in sunlight, overlooking the calm waters of Lake Winnipesaukee through a wide window. It’s a quiet moment that captures the spirit of summer and the role of the arts in this community. This framed print is a tribute to Peter’s lasting legacy as one of the Lakes Region’s most beloved artists. This scene is from a Cottage near Garnett Point on Moultonborough Neck. The piano is the prototype of the Model “O” Steinway. Steinway still uses many of the design features from this piano. The cottage was built around 1890, and the piano in 1900.
