appy New Year to all of you, and welcome to 2023! Looking back at last year, it was a year of continued organic growth for our water businesses and significant margin expansion for our Power and Containment business. The oil and gas business has entered a period of reinvestment after several years of contraction, and our market positions are very strong entering the new year. We decided to exit our Fluids services and Production Chemical business and used the proceeds of those sales to pay down some of our debt and position our remaining businesses for the future. Although it is always hard to make these decisions, it allows us to seek new growth in our water business and invest in upgrading our power rental fleet. Thank you for the focus you have shown in continuing to improve our core businesses as we have worked through all the transitions this year. We are stronger as a result. I can confidently say our focus on excellent customer service has continued to improve, and our new rental and water contracts reflect that focus and hard work. I would highlight the following as key accomplishments for 2022:

Continued Best in Class HSE performance

Achieved new record water sourcing and disposal volumes

Implemented significant price increases in our Power and Containment business

Established new scale with our produced water re-use business

Successfully established new administration offices in Odessa, Snyder, and Lubbock

Implemented multiple cost saving initiatives to improve and streamline systems

Implemented an AP automation process through Open Invoice/Open Order Signed multiple new produced and source water acreage dedication agreements in the Permian and Bakken

Completed the successful sale of our Fluid services and Production Chemical businesses

Congratulations on those phenomenal accomplishments and many more not listed here. As I look forward to 2023, I am excited about the company and the market position we have. As with every year, there could always be surprises, but I am confident our leadership and employees are up to any challenge. The market looks strong for our products and services. It is up to us to go after and meet the high expectations of our customers. I have said before, that now more than ever, we must prove to our customers that we are their best option for the products and services they buy or contract from Gravity. It is the little things that we do that may matter the most. Working safely, answering the phone, showing up to the site on time, making sure our assets are clean and run at peak levels, properly billing them for our services, and a slew of other duties that we sometimes take for granted. Let’s stay focused on all these items and think about how each of us will individually make a difference this year. We can never assume that we have reached our peak. I challenge each of you to step up to a higher level of customer service in 2023. It makes a difference, and we need that to differentiate Gravity. I am proud to represent each of you at Gravity, and I look forward to continuing the momentum we have achieved. We are in position, and I know each of you are ready to continue to grow and improve this company. Thanks for making a difference in 2022; now go deliver in 2023!

Approach the New Year with resolve to find the opportunities hidden in each new day.

TIM LANTZ STEVE LUDWIG

WHAT TIM LOVES ABOUT HIS PEOPLE:

The dedication and work ethic of all our employees. Especially this time of year, when our temperatures fall to -10 or -20 degrees and the wind is blowing 25-35 miles per hour, our "feel like" temps can easily reach -40 or -50 degrees. However, our employees continue to brave the cold and work long hours to ensure that we keep our equipment operational to meet our customers' expectations.

FEATURED BRANCH
p8

WHAT MAKES THE BRANCH SPECIAL:

The ingenuity of our employees to find ways to keep our fleet operational with as little downtime as possible. Our more experienced employees continue to lead and mentor our SSEs to ensure that our quality of service and reliability exceeds that of our competitors. We have had so many employees leave for positions with other companies, who then look to return to Gravity. I think that says a lot about the culture that we have created in this branch. The Williston satellite branch is unique in that I manage it primarily remotely. This speaks to the trust I have in the team there and their ability to solve problems without much oversight needed. Our Lead Coordinator, Jim Reem, is the person our Williston employees go to. With Williston being about two hours from my office in Dickinson, it is imperative to have people that you trust in positions like Jim’s.

Stonehome Brewing Company - Watford City, ND

This month we are excited to bring you to Stonehome Brewing Company, located only two hours from the Canadian border in Watford City, North Dakota. "Hopped up on Homegrown" is more than Stonehome's slogan; it's the blueprint of this popular local pub, which opened its doors in 2016, followed by the construction of a craft brewery in the spring of 2017 A second location came next, in the heart of the state capital, Bismarck, in 2018. Norwegian for " a homestead or a farm made of stone," the brewery's name, Stonehome, also translates to "Stenehjem" –which is the Norse surname of the local Midwestern family who brought the idea to life

Stonehome Brewing Company was dreamed up and designed to show people what craft beer can be, not what craft beer is. It is every person's microbrewery. Their focus is on creating approachable, clean, yet innovative – and above all – high-quality craft beer for all. About their culture, Stonehome says, “We are continually working to nurture our community as a destination location and continue shaping ourselves as a leading craft beer producer in North Dakota while keeping everyone 'Hopped up on Homegrown'. Stonehome Brewing Co. is a place you can hang your hat, be yourself, kick back, and indulge in a small batch of craft beers, whether you're in our Watford City or Bismarck brewpub."

p14 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT NATURAL GAS FIELD TECHNICIAN BORN: NORMAN, OK FAVORITE FOOD: STEAK & POTATOES FAVORITE HOBBY: WORKING ON MY PICKUP

Growing up in a hard-working family in Noble, Oklahoma, I helped work the family farm as a kid which taught me a strong work ethic and drive. My father, of course, always set a great example. He is a hard-working man and taught me that nothing in life is given and you have to work hard for everything you want in life. I have always appreciated and followed that example in my life. As a young adult, my first jobs were contract jobs like roofing houses, tree trimming and removal, and concrete work. On the side, I have always worked on cars and trucks, which is my passion. My whole family has always worked on cars, trucks, and tractors so it was only natural that I would pick that up. To be honest, working on equipment is one of the many reasons I decided to come to work at Gravity. I have spent a lot of my life bouncing from job to job, but I could never find a place where I knew I wanted to stay. Since coming on board with Gravity, I know now that this is the place and the field I belong and want to be in. There are always different challenges, and I get to work on equipment which, as I said, I have always enjoyed. Everyone I have worked for has always complimented me on my attitude and work ethic. I will always stay committed to setting an example for others just as my father and brothers have done for me.

B. Ellis Island

Q1 Q1

From 1892 to 1924, Ellis Island was America's largest and most active immigration station, where over 12 million immigrants were processed. On average, the inspection process took approximately 3-7 hours.

A. January 1934

The U.S. Army used the island for more than 80 years – from 1850 until 1933 – before the island was transferred to the U.S. Department of Justice for use by the Federal Bureau of Prisons. The Federal Government had decided to open a maximumsecurity, minimum-privilege penitentiary to deal with the most incorrigible inmates in federal prisons and to show the lawabiding public that the Federal Government was serious about stopping the rampant crime of the 1920s and 1930s.

A. Alaska

After the annual introduction of various statehood bills, H.R. 7999 passed in the House on May 28, 1958, passed in the Senate on June 30, 1958, and was signed into law on July 7, 1958. On January 3, 1959, President Eisenhower signed the official proclamation admitting Alaska as the 49th state.
