Outreach & Marketing: Pineville Pink Out
HONORING BREAST CANCER AWARENESS
The Pineville Mountain Lions honored Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a special Pink Out on October 25.

Fans were invited to Pineville to watch the Mountain Lions take on the Lynn Camp Wildcats. The evening also featured the Laurel Bowl, Homecoming, and Senior Night celebrations, with AirEvac delivering the game ball to the field by helicopter.

Grace Health’s PR Specialist created custom breast cancer awareness shirts for the event, designed to honor and remember those affected by breast cancer. The back of each shirt featured the names of individuals connected to Grace Health who are survivors or have passed away from breast cancer. These meaningful shirts were distributed to the football and cheer teams and given away to fans throughout the game.

A heartfelt thank you goes to Theresa LeFevers, a breast cancer survivor and loved Grace Health Pineville Clinic team member, for her inspiration. Recognized at the game, Theresa proudly celebrated cancer-free as of May 2024.

Grace Health was honored to stand with the community, supporting breast cancer awareness during an unforgettable evening that ended with Pineville’s thrilling 18-12 victory over Lynn Camp.
