Grace Health was proud to launch Love Our Community, a new joint venture between our Marketing and Outreach departments designed to connect with the community in meaningful ways. The first-ever event, Breast Cancer Awareness Day, was held on October 29 in partnership with Cato Fashions in Corbin, KY.

The event featured an opportunity for attendees to learn more about Grace Health’s services while enjoying free baked goods from Wild Daisy Farm & Kitchen, a locally owned gluten-free bakery in Corbin. Cato Fashions hosted a fundraising initiative, including the chance to win baskets filled with items from local businesses such as Kindred Spirits, Betty’s Flowers, and Books-a-Million. Thanks to overwhelming community support, Cato surpassed their original fundraising goal of $775, raising over $900 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

The Corbin Fire Department also attended the event, raising awareness with its signature pink helmets, which were sponsored by local businesses, including Grace Health.
