OUTREACH & MARKETING EVENTS: Veteran Classic
Veterans Classic at Leslie County High School

Grace Health had the privilege of sponsoring the annual Veterans Classic in Leslie County again this September. The event brought the community together, with several team members from our Manchester Clinic joining providers from Hyden Clinic.

The Magoffin County Hornets (1-1) traveled to Hyden to face the Leslie County (LC) Eagles (1-1). Fans cheered on their team and enjoyed the chance to enter a drawing for exciting prizes, including a Nintendo Switch, Apple AirPods, and an Apple Watch.

Grace Health Hyden Clinic primary care provider Brian Overbee, APRN, presented the Leslie County Eagles with the championship belt (top). Manchester Clinic primary care provider Amanda Collett, APRN, assisted him in presenting Offensive and Defensive Player of the Game (POG) awards to standout athletes from both teams.

Eagles senior quarterback Landry Collett (#1) was named the home team’s offensive POG, while junior teammate Landon Joseph (#31) was the Defensive POG.

Senior Curtis Jenkins (#44) took home the Defensive POG for the visiting Hornets, and freshman Blake Wireman (#2) the Offensive POG.

WINNING FANS

Congratulations to all the winners, and a special thank you to everyone who joined us for a fantastic night at the Veterans Classic! We’re grateful to be part of such a supportive community and look forward to each year’s event.
The prize giveaways added to the evening’s excitement, and several lucky attendees walked away with memorable wins.
