SEMA SHOW STUNNER TAKES GOLF CART BUILDS TO NEW HEIGHTS

First-time cart builder Charles Adkins creates a jaw-dropping custom build that dominated the 2024 SEMA show

When it comes to custom golf cart builds, sometimes bigger truly is better. That's certainly the case with Charles Adkins' showstopping creation that towered over the competition at the 2024 SEMA show in Las Vegas. What makes this build even more impressive? It's Adkins' first-ever golf cart project.

"It's the first cart I've ever built. I had no clue what I was getting into when I came into it. And it's been a learning experience," Adkins explains. Based in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Adkins runs a

used car dealership for his full-time job, but his passion for custom builds led him to take on this ambitious project.

FROM BASIC CART TO BEHEMOTH

What began as a 15-year-old used cart quickly evolved into something entirely different once Adkins got it back to his shop. "We hauled it up from Florida to Northwest Arkansas and we realized pretty quickly that it wasn't going to work out as is," he recalls.

The solution? Start from scratch with a custom frame. As the project evolved, nearly every original component was replaced or heavily modified. "The only thing left from that cart is this rear differential," Adkins notes with a laugh. "Everything else is completely custom and upgraded."

The scale of this build becomes immediately apparent when you see it in person. Standing 53 inches tall to the base of the cart and rolling on massive 44-inch Venom Power tires mounted on 30x16-inch TIS forged wheels, this creation commands attention from every angle.

ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE

The technical challenges of building at this scale required innovative solutions throughout. Adkins created a custom 4-link suspension system he designed and fabricated himself.

For the drivetrain, custom axle shafts were specially machined to connect Ford F-350 outer hubs to the golf cart differential.

"We had to have custom axle shafts made to go because that's one-ton Ford F-350 outers; and then we had to have a shaft milled down and turned and then splined to go to the golf cart differential," Adkins explains.

With a build this large, conventional steering wouldn't suffice. Adkins opted for a full hydraulic steering system typically used in boats. "When you're sitting dead still, trying to turn a 16-and-a-half-inch wide wheel, it gives you a little bit of resistance," he notes. "Once you're moving just a little bit, it turns just like power steering."

POWERED BY TOP-TIER COMPONENTS

For electric power, Adkins partnered with Navitas Vehicle Systems to install their 5kW system, complemented by a 72volt lithium battery pack from Eco Battery. The combination provides impressive acceleration.

"I can mash the accelerator pedal on this thing and it extends the front suspension," Adkins says. "It'll raise the front suspension up on it when you really get in it."

The Navitas system includes a 10-inch touchscreen display that provides battery percentage, speed readings, and entertainment options including Bluetooth connectivity for

the four 10-inch Memphis tower speakers mounted on the rear of the cart.

DISTINCTIVE DESIGN ELEMENTS

The visual appeal of this build goes far beyond its imposing size. A Polynesian tribal wrap by Zach's Audio FX of Grove, Oklahoma, covers the MadJax Storm body kit, creating a striking appearance that carries through to the interior.

"I'm not Polynesian at all, but the guy decided to go with Polynesian Tribal Wrap and it came out beautifully," Adkins says. This theme continues with custom SeaDek-style flooring by Next Level Mats, featuring routed patterns that match the exterior graphics.

The custom cage-style top, built by Brett McGee of "Built by BAM," draws inspiration from Polaris RZR designs rather than traditional golf cart tops. Complete with a stinger on the back and Lexan panels for visibility, the top includes integrated front and rear view cameras for navigating this massive machine.

Inside, premium MODZ seats provide both style and comfort. "These seats are phenomenal," Adkins enthuses.

"They're plush. They feel good when you ride."

COLLABORATIVE EFFORT

Despite being his first golf cart build, Adkins brought his experience from custom truck projects along with support from a dedicated team. He specifically credits Wyatt Adkins (his 11-year-old son), Amy Adkins, Brett McGee, Heath Nance, and Jim Nance for their contributions.

"Wyatt is my 11-year-old son, he helped everywhere he was able. He even gave advice on the suspension when he saw I had some flaws in the design," Adkins notes. "The parallel front 4-link bars wouldn't allow the front wheels to turn because they were too wide. Wyatt suggested the triangulated 4-link design to match the rear."

The support extended to his vendors as well, particularly the team at Navitas. "It was unreal the amount of customer service we got from those guys," Adkins shares. "I basically told them to talk to me like a child, talk to me like you would run a 10-year-old through this, because I had no clue what I was doing."

APPROPRIATELY NAMED

The cart's name—"It's Only Money"—matches Adkins' Instagram and TikTok handles and is prominently displayed on a plate integrated into the suspension. It's a fitting moniker for a nocompromise build that spared no expense in pursuit of creating something truly exceptional.

While the cart had less than half a mile on it when it arrived at SEMA, Adkins was eager to take it for a proper drive during the show's parade down the Las Vegas Strip. "I'm excited to get it out on the Vegas strip," he said. "We're going to take it out and just put some miles on it."

Though this might be Adkins' first golf cart build, the quality and attention to detail showcase his experience as a builder and suggest it might not be his last. When asked about future plans, his answer was simple: "It's all for fun."

For now, this towering testament to creativity, engineering skill, and pure audacity continues to draw crowds and drop jaws—proving that sometimes the most impressive builds come from first-time cart builders who aren't afraid to think big... really big.

DEALER NETWORKING COULD BE THE GOLF CART INDUSTRY'S ULTIMATE BUSINESS ADVANTAGE

In the rapidly evolving golf cart industry, the most successful dealers aren't necessarily those with the biggest showrooms or the most extensive inventory—they're the ones who actively build and maintain strong relationships with other professionals in the field. As competition increases and consumer expectations evolve, the ability to share knowledge, solve common challenges, and stay ahead of industry trends has become more critical than ever.

LEARNING THROUGH SHARED EXPERIENCE

Every dealer faces unique challenges, but many of the fundamental hurdles are remarkably similar across markets. Whether it's adapting to new battery technologies, navigating supply chain disruptions, or implementing effective marketing strategies, someone else in the industry has likely already developed a solution to the problem you're currently facing.

This collaborative approach doesn't mean sharing proprietary business information or customer lists. Rather, it focuses on operational best practices, service techniques, and general market insights that benefit everyone involved.

BUILDING STRATEGIC SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIPS

Beyond peer-to-peer connections, developing stronger relationships with manufacturers and suppliers creates tangible business advantages. Suppliers who know you personally are often more likely to prioritize your orders during product shortages, provide early access to new products, and offer specialized training for your staff.

These relationships also provide a direct channel for feedback. When dealers collectively identify issues or opportunities for improvement, manufacturers listen. Many of today's most popular features and products evolved directly from dealer suggestions that gained traction through networked discussions.

CREATING COMPETITIVE DIFFERENTIATION

In markets where multiple dealers compete for the same customer base, the knowledge gained through broader scale industry networking often becomes a key differentiator. Dealers who stay connected remain at the forefront of emerging trends and innovative business practices.

This advantage extends to problem-solving as well. When unexpected challenges arise—whether technical, operational, or market-related—connected dealers can quickly tap into the collective wisdom of their network rather than navigating uncharted territory alone.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEANINGFUL CONNECTION

While digital platforms provide valuable ongoing communication channels, nothing replaces the effectiveness of in-person networking events. The upcoming Golf Carting Expo & Dealer Summit (October 8-11 in Charleston, SC, www.GolfCartingExpo. com) represents the industry's premier opportunity for meaningful connection, offering structured networking sessions alongside educational programming specifically tailored to dealer needs.

"This event will create the perfect environment for relationship building," explains Matt White, editor of Golf Carting Magazine and co-organizer of the Expo. "When dealers spend a few days learning together, sharing meals, and discussing common challenges, the connections they form can last for years and deliver ongoing value long after the event concludes."

THE CUMULATIVE ADVANTAGE

The benefits of dealer networking compound over time. What begins as occasional knowledge sharing could evolve into formal buying groups, cooperative marketing initiatives, and even shared inventory arrangements that would be impossible without established trust and communication channels.

Even more importantly, these connections create a supportive community that makes the entrepreneurial journey less isolating and more rewarding. In an industry driven by passion as much as profit, the camaraderie found through networking often becomes one of the most valued aspects of business ownership.

Whether through industry events like the Golf Carting Expo, regional dealer associations, or manufacturer-sponsored programs, owners who commit to building and nurturing professional relationships consistently report stronger businesses, more satisfying careers, and greater resilience during challenging times. In today's interconnected marketplace, your network may well be your most valuable business asset.

BUILT TO LAST:

NAVITAS LAUNCHES REVOLUTIONARY ALUMINUM CHASSIS

Canadian technology leader introduces weld-free design that combines lightweight strength with advanced features

When golf cart builders seek the perfect foundation for a custom project, the chassis represents the most critical decision they'll make. Now, Navitas Vehicle Systems—already an industry leader in controllers and motors—has raised the bar with their innovative aluminum chassis, a ground-up redesign that eliminates the primary weakness found in traditional platforms.

"The aluminum chassis features four-wheel disc brakes, all aluminum, heavily engineered. The suspension is phenomenal. It's night and day over our former steel chassis," explains Todd Dussault, Sales Director at Navitas, during a recent tour of their new chassis facility in Waterloo, Ontario.

Engineering Out the Weaknesses

What truly distinguishes this chassis isn't just the shift to aluminum—it's the completely reimagined approach to construction. Drawing lessons from decades of golf cart evolution, Navitas identified the Achilles' heel of even the most respected platforms in the industry.

"Some of the best designs in the industry started out at the Club Car DS, a full aluminum chassis," notes Dussault. "Now, those chassis are 20, 25 years old, and the only real failure points we've seen are at the welds. So when we designed our aluminum chassis, we took the best of what everyone else was doing."

The solution? A revolutionary weld-free design inspired by aerospace engineering principles.

"The worst part of the aluminum chassis was the welds. So, we went with an aerospace design where it's all bolted together. And that's part of our patent on that product," Dussault explains.

This bolted construction doesn't just eliminate weak points—it creates a platform that's both lighter and stronger, combining the corrosion resistance of aluminum with structural integrity that surpasses traditional welded designs.

Comprehensive Platform from a Complete Manufacturer

The aluminum chassis represents more than just a new product—it showcases Navitas' evolution from component manufacturer to complete systems provider. Operating from their headquarters in Waterloo, Navitas has established a fully

integrated approach to golf cart technology.

"Navitas Vehicle Systems, not necessarily under this name, but we've been in business for pushing 40 years now, founded here in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada," Dussault shares. "We are at the headquarters where all the magic happens, where our controllers are manufactured. We've been in this facility for about 15 years now."

The new chassis facility, just a mile down the road from their controller manufacturing plant, represents the company's commitment to vertical integration. "This is where we're going to assemble our aluminum chassis, do our final testing on the chassis before they're sent to our warehouse in the US," notes Dussault.

Features That Deliver Performance

The aluminum chassis comes equipped with features that elevate it above conventional platforms:

• Four-wheel disc brakes for superior stopping power

• Fully engineered suspension system

• Advanced brake design with EMB (electromagnetic brake) mounted on the axle rather than the motor

• Integrated mounting points for Navitas controllers and

motors

• Bolted, weld-free construction for maximum durability

• 10-inch screen option for digital dashboard functions

The relocation of the brake system represents a particularly thoughtful engineering decision. "The Navitas chassis features the Navitas axle with the EMB on the axle versus on the motor. That does help dissipate some of the heat that you'll see on some of the other products out there, moving the brake to the axle and off of the motor," Dussault explains.

Built for Customization

For dealers and builders, the new chassis provides an ideal starting point for custom projects. Rather than beginning with a pre-existing golf cart and modifying it, builders can now start with a purpose-built platform designed specifically for customization.

"We talk about the custom cart golf cart dealer, right? They put one of our chassis in their showroom and the customer walks in and says, 'What's this all about?' Well, you have this as your starting platform. From here, you can choose wheels, tires, battery, the different body styles, different seats,

golfcartchassis

and build their ultimate custom cart versus buying a cookiecutter cart that's out there. And yeah, that's been huge for this product line," Dussault shares.

Automotive Inspiration

The chassis also reflects changing consumer expectations in the golf cart market, with features that would be at home in a modern automobile.

"The evolution of the golf cart means people are looking for their golf carts to be more automotive spec. So, you're not really buying a car these days that doesn't have a touchscreen

in it," Dussault observes. "We've developed a touchscreen that brings in those creature comforts of your automobile, including touchpoints where you can turn your headlights on or move the car from forward to reverse all within the screen, lockout screens for security purposes, your speed, your voltage, Apple CarPlay, Google maps, all that stuff can run to that screen."

Powered by Proven Technology

While the chassis itself represents a significant innovation, it's designed to integrate seamlessly with Navitas' industry-

golfcartchassis

leading motor and controller technology. The company offers multiple performance tiers to match any application—from utility use to high-performance racing.

"Our multiuse platform has come with our Navitas TAC2 600A, 5kW AC powertrain kits pre-installed," according to company materials, though customers can select from various power options ranging from the base TSX DC controller to the high-performance TAC3 850-amp system that's become dominant in competitive racing.

Made in North America

In an era of global supply chains, Navitas maintains a commitment to North American manufacturing. "Navitas currently manufactures its controls in Canada, but it's going to be moving anything that's been produced overseas... into Canada—some motors, harnessing, axles. We want to be able to provide a turnkey drivetrain solution that meets USMCA certifications," Dussault explains.

This approach provides advantages beyond just patriotic

appeal. "If you're an OE in Ohio and you're looking for a North American manufactured product, you can come to us and we can provide you with a turnkey solution."

With approximately 20 engineers across mechanical, electrical, software, and motor specialties, Navitas maintains complete control over their design and manufacturing process. This integrated approach ensures quality control and enables rapid innovation as market demands evolve.

As golf carts continue their transformation from simple transportation to lifestyle vehicles, Navitas' aluminum chassis represents the next evolution in platform design—lighter, stronger, more versatile, and built to last decades without the structural failures that have plagued even the best conventional designs.

For custom builders and dealers looking to differentiate themselves in an increasingly competitive market, this Canadian-engineered foundation provides a perfect starting point for creating truly exceptional vehicles that combine performance, durability, and style.

WHAT’S YOUR NAME AND WHERE ARE YOU FROM?

Brian McKinley I’m based in Orangevale, California

WHAT YEAR, BRAND, AND MODEL CART IS THIS?

Brian: It’s a 1999 EZGO TXT.

TELL US ABOUT THIS CUSTOM BUILD.

Brian: I personally built this cart from the ground up. Every detail was carefully thought out to make it unique and functional, while also keeping it true to the classic style.

DID YOU FABRICATE ANY CUSTOM PARTS?

Brian: Yes, quite a few. I fabricated my own shock cover, motor cover, and a few other components that make this cart stand out.

WHAT AFTERMARKET PARTS DID YOU USE?

Brian: I went all-in with performance and electronics. I installed a Navitas 440 Amp controller with Bluetooth activation, paired with an upgraded rear axle without splines and a D&D high-torque motor.

On the style and tech side, I added underglow light bars from Opt7 Lighting with 16 colors, sound sync, and flashing options

controlled by remote. The cart also features multiple LED lights— clearance and parking lights, blue lights in the trunk and battery compartments, and white LEDs inside the glove boxes—all wired through a six-toggle switch panel on the dash.

Two of those switches control the four trumpet train horns with a compressor mounted under a custom-built two-axle dump trailer I tow most of the time, along with a second trailer behind it. All of these upgrades bring this mechanical cart into the modern age of computers and customization. It’s definitely a head-turner.

CAN YOU TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOUR BACKGROUND?

Brian: I’m a retired truck driver, but I’ve always been into custom builds—everything from semis to smaller projects. Building this golf cart was another way to keep my passion for custom fabrication alive.

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU’D LIKE TO ADD ABOUT THE BUILD?

Brian: The entire build was financed and created on our own budget, which makes it that much more rewarding. It’s proof that with a little creativity, time, and effort, you can create something really special without relying on outside shops.

With cobblestone streets, colonial architecture, and coastal vistas, Charleston's timeless appeal has captivated visitors for centuries. But beyond the horsedrawn carriages and walking tours of the historic downtown peninsula lies a vibrant golf cart culture that has become a fundamental part of life in the surrounding beach communities and residential neighborhoods.

Beach Towns Lead the Way

Charleston's beach towns have embraced golf carts as essential transportation options, creating communities where the pace matches the relaxed coastal lifestyle. Isle of Palms, Sullivan's Island, and Folly Beach all actively encourage golf cart use, while Daniel Island incorporates extensive cart accessibility throughout its planned development. Residents and visitors alike benefit from dedicated "Golf Cart Only" parking areas scattered

throughout these beach communities.

“Coastal towns like Charleston are absolutely thriving with the growing popularity of golf carts and LSVs,” notes Matt Smith, owner of Charleston Custom Golf Carts. “These vehicles aren’t just a convenience— they’ve become a way of life. Residents and visitors alike are embracing them as their go-to choice for getting to the beach, shops, and local restaurants. I’ve seen firsthand how this shift is transforming our communities. What started as a fun and functional way to get around vacation spots has now evolved into an essential part of daily life for so many. I’m genuinely passionate about this movement—it’s changing the way we live, one ride at a time.”

The culture extends beyond mere transportation to include community traditions. Throughout the year, these neighborhoods come alive with parades featuring customized and decorated carts for holidays like the Fourth of July and Christmas. For tourists wanting to experience this distinctive lifestyle firsthand, several rental options make it possible to explore the area as locals do.

Residential Communities Embracing the Trend

Planned developments across the Charleston area have recognized the appeal of golf cart-friendly design. Communities developed by Toll Brothers feature dedicated cart paths and infrastructure, while neighborhoods like Cane Bay seamlessly integrate cart accessibility into their overall design. This thoughtful planning creates environments where lower speed limits accommodate mixed cart and vehicle use, with strategic connectivity between residential areas and commercial centers.

"The layout and infrastructure of today’s thoughtfully planned coastal communities are truly built with golf cart and LSV travel in mind,” explains Smith. “As these neighborhoods grow, so does the intricate web of pathways connecting everything— pools, parks, clubhouses, and more. It’s about more than just convenience—it’s about creating a lifestyle where residents of all ages can enjoy safe, fun, and effortless transportation right from their driveway.”

Downtown Adaptation

While the downtown peninsula remains primarily walkable, a growing number of residents have adopted golf carts for local transportation. The trend has sparked innovation in service offerings, with ride-sharing services now utilizing golf carts for tourist transportation and rental businesses offering exploration options for visitors. "In recent years, golf cart enthusiasts have created a golf cart lifestyle in the Charleston area," local sources report. "College students in downtown Charleston have even jumped on the golf cart bandwagon, using carts to travel to and from class."

This transition represents not just a transportation choice but a philosophical shift – embracing a slower, more connected approach to community mobility that values interaction over isolation. Some companies even

offer downtown golf cart rentals for tourists, allowing visitors to experience the city's charm at a pace that permits genuine appreciation of its architectural and natural beauty.

Regulatory Framework That Works

South Carolina has established clear guidelines for legal golf cart operation that balance freedom with safety. State law requires golf carts to be registered and operated only on secondary highways where posted speed limits are 35 mph or less. Operators must stay within 4 miles of their registered address or gated community entrance, and only licensed drivers at least 16 years old may operate these vehicles.

For safety reasons, operation is permitted only during daylight hours, and carts must be equipped with essential safety features including lights, turn signals, and seat belts. The state's Department of Motor Vehicles issues special permit stickers that must be displayed on registered golf carts, ensuring accountability while preserving the freedom that makes cart transportation appealing.

A Community Built Around Cart Culture

What makes Charleston's golf cart scene unique is how it has evolved into more than just transportation – it's become a social movement that connects residents across generations.

Matthew Conway, owner of Coastal Cruising Carts, who grew up on Sullivan's Island, recalls seeing golf carts "evolve from a recreation into a true mode of transportation" throughout his childhood and college years. Now residing in Mount Pleasant, he uses his LSV for nearly all trips within a five-mile radius of his home –grocery store visits, playground outings with his children, and evening cruises around the neighborhood.

This sentiment is echoed by others like Matt Allen, owner of IOP Golf Cart Rentals in Isle of Palms, who describes traveling by golf cart as "the most enjoyable way to travel." His family uses their golf cart for everything from grocery shopping to evening cruises "at least five times per week, just to get out of the house in the cool evening hours in the summertime."

Building Community Through Organized Events

The golf cart community in Charleston has developed vibrant traditions that showcase how these vehicles bring people together. Anne Lee Taylor, known locally as the "golf cart lady," started a golf cart club after moving to Charleston in 2009. What began as a Facebook page to connect enthusiasts has grown into an organization that manages multiple events throughout the year. The club organizes annual Fourth of July parades where decorated carts travel through neighborhoods while throwing candy to spectators. During the holiday season, Christmas parades feature carts adorned with festive lights and decorations. Perhaps most popular are the summer "wet" parades where spectators playfully douse participants with water, creating memorable community experiences.

The Perfect Way to Experience Charleston

For visitors and residents alike, golf carts offer a unique perspective on the Charleston area that can't be matched by conventional transportation. At a leisurely pace, cart drivers experience the sights, sounds, and scents of the Lowcountry in a way that enclosed vehicles simply can't provide.

This approach to transportation matches perfectly with Charleston's appreciation for history, beauty, and relaxed Southern living. As one local resident explained, "It's a more enjoyable way to travel." Whether visiting an accommodation or staying with family and friends in Downtown Charleston, a street-legal golf cart or Low Speed Vehicle provides a distinctive way to experience the local surroundings, views, historical destinations, recreation activities, and dining options.

As Charleston continues to grow and evolve, its golf cart culture represents more than just a practical transportation solution—it embodies a philosophy that values community connection, environmental consciousness, and enjoyment of the journey itself.

ASK THE MECHANIC

Q: I have a stock Curtis controller in my electric cart. What can I do to "unlock" more speed?

A: Curtis controllers are sophisticated components used in many golf carts and they offer a range of adjustable parameters that can affect speed, acceleration, braking, and overall performance. Speed upgrade settings typically refer to modifying these parameters to achieve higher top speeds or improved acceleration.

You will need a specialized Curtis handheld programmer (like the 1313-4401 or similar) or the Curtis PC programming station software to access and change these settings. You cannot do it with simple tools.

Controller Model Specifics: The exact parameters and their ranges will vary significantly depending on the specific Curtis controller model and the golf cart manufacturer's specific programming for that specific model. Controllers that are used in 2010+ EZGOs use a specialized passkey device to unlock "Freedom mode", enabling the controller to a higher speed. 2004+ Club Cars use a unique code purchased through a dealer to unlock a speed setting called "Speed Code 4". Some models (ex. 1268-5403) only require a programmer to modify certain performance related parameters.

When looking to increase the top speed on a golf cart with a Curtis controller, primarily adjusting parameters are related to:

Maximum Forward Speed (M1 FWD SPEED):

This parameter sets the maximum percentage of the motor's theoretical top RPM the controller will allow. Increasing this value will generally increase your top speed, assuming your motor and batteries can handle it.

Acceleration Rate (M1 ACCEL, S1 Accel Rate):

This setting determines how quickly the cart reaches its target speed when you press the accelerator. Increasing this will make the cart feel more "peppy" and responsive.

Current Limits (MAIN C/L, M1 MAIN C/L):

This parameter sets the maximum amperage the controller will deliver to the motor. Increasing this can provide more power for acceleration and hill climbing, which can indirectly contribute to maintaining speed under load.

Field Mapping (FLD MIN, FLD MAP START, FIELD RAMP, FIELD MAX):

This setting defines how the controller varies the field current (and thus the motor's field strength) across the RPM range.

Throttle Map (THROTTLE MAP, THROTTLE 0%, THROTTLE 100%):

These settings define how the physical movement of the accelerator pedal translates into a speed/power command for the controller. While not directly a "speed upgrade," optimizing the throttle map can make the cart feel more responsive and effectively utilize the available power.

Regenerative Braking (REGEN C/L, FLD BRAKE, etc. - for Sepex/AC motors):

While not directly for increasing speed, modifying regen settings can impact the driving experience. Reducing regen braking can allow the cart to coast more freely, potentially feeling faster on declines. Increasing it can extend range and provide more aggressive "engine braking."

How to access and adjust settings:

• Connect Programmer: Plug the Curtis handheld programmer or PC interface into the controller's diagnostic port (usually a small 4-pin connector on the controller).

• Power On: Turn the golf cart's key switch on.

• Access Menus: Navigate through the programmer's menus to find the "Parameters" or "Programming" section.

• Identify Parameters: Locate the specific parameters you wish to adjust.

• Change Values: Use the programmer's buttons to increase or decrease the values. The programmer will often show the current value and the minimum/maximum allowable range.

• Save changes, power down the cart and disconnect the programmer.

• Test the cart in a safe, open area, listening for unusual noises, checking for overheating, and verifying desired performance.

• Caution: Improper adjustments can severely damage a Sepex motor, leading to excessive heat, reduced efficiency, or even demagnetization of the field. Modify at your own risk!
