CHRISTMAS FUNCTION Unfortunately, the Christmas function will not take place this year. Due to the Covid 19 situation all functions have been cancelled. Next year will be special, that’s a promise.

SUMMER IS HERE PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THE RULE OF THE POOL AREA! USE OF POOL AND POOL AREA The pool and pool area is communal property as defined in the Memorandum of Incorporation and is available to all Members for their use and enjoyment, subject to the provisions of the Rules and Regulations. 5


USE OF POOL AREA (CONT.) Use of the pool and pool area is at the entire risk of Members, their family, friends, guests and invitees, and each Member indemnifies and holds harmless the Association against any claim of whatsoever nature arising from the use of the pool and pool area sustained by any Members, their family, friends, guests and invitees. The use of the pool and pool area will at all times be subject to the terms and conditions set out hereunder, namely: • • • • • • •

No pets are allowed in the swimming pool area; No drinking glasses are allowed in the area; No playing with the creepy crawly, floaters, pipes, drain covers, etc. are allowed; No littering is allowed. Please make use of the dustbins provided; No climbing or jumping over the pool fence; Children under the age of 12 should be accompanied by an adult; Excessive jumping and splashing during water restrictions are to be avoided and limited.

23.4 The pool and pool area may be closed to Members by decision of the Board or Estate Manger and during such closure all Members, their family, friends, guests and invitees are prohibited from using the poll and / or pool area. 6

MEDITERRANEAN CHICKEN PITA POCKETS Sautéed chicken stuffed pita pockets are flavour enriched with diced tomatoes, cucumbers, creamy dill yogurt sauce and crumbled feta cheese – perfect for a summer’s day.

RECIPE OF THE MONTH: SERVINGS: 6 TOTAL TIME TO PREP AND MAKE: 30 MIN WHAT YOU NEED: • • • • • • • • • • •

2/3 cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed 3/4 teaspoon garlic salt, divided 2 tablespoons olive oil 500 g boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin slices 1 small punnet of fresh cherry tomatoes 3 whole wheat pita pocket breads, cut in half 1 cup thinly sliced cucumber 3 tablespoons crumbled feta cheese 1/2 sliced red onion

1. Stir together yogurt, lemon juice, dill and 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt in small bowl; set aside. 2. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken; sprinkle with remaining 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt. Cook 5 to 7 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink, stirring occasionally. 3. Spread yogurt mixture evenly inside pita pockets; top with cucumber slices and diced tomatoes. Divide chicken mixture evenly and spoon into pita pockets; top evenly with cheese and red onion. 4. Serve immediately.

Matters of the Month

Boardwalk PETS Should any excrement be deposited in a Communal Property or public area, the immediate removal thereof shall be the sole responsibility of the owner of the pet. Neglect to comply shall result in a fine of up to R500.00 (five hundred rand) per incident. It is strongly recommended that owners of pets walk with vesicles or other means of dealing with pet mess.
