There were of course Ford New concrete pump by Putzmeister. îËÕ ç¶ àð¾Õ ÁÅêäÆ ò¾ÖðÆ Çç¾Ö Õð Õ¶ Áñ¾× 9000 “Louisville” mixers and dump ê°å÷îÅÇÂÃàð òμñ¯º ìÇäÁÅ éòź Õ§ÕðÆà ê§êÍ ÔÆ êÛÅä ðÖç¶ Ãé Áå¶ ÇÂé·» çÆ õÅÃÆÁå trucks, but the Macks stood out ÇÂÔ òÆ ÃÆ ÇÕ ÇÂÔ îÅâñ ÇéÁÅ×ðÅ due to their distinctive look and ê¶ÇééðñÅ ÓÚ Õ³î Õðé òÅñÆÁ» ðËâÆ the fact that this was the model ÇîÕà ճêéÆÁ» çÆ êÇÔñÆ êóç ÃÆÍ of choice of the ready mix comÁ¾Ü ç¶ àð¾Õ êÇÔñ» éÅñ¯º ìÔ°å ò¾â¶ Ô°³ç¶ panies operating in the Niagara Ôé Áå¶ ÇÂé·» ÓÚ Ã°ð¾ÇÖÁÅ ç¶ êÌì³è Áå¶ Peninsula. âðÅÂÆòð» çÆ ÃÔ±ñå ¶éÆ ÇìÔåð ÔË ÇÕ Today’s trucks are so much largAIE@ÇòÁ» Áå¶ AIF@ÇòÁ» ÓÚ ÇÂà ìÅð¶ er than those of the past and the ïÇÚÁÅ òÆ éÔƺ ÜÅ ÃÕçÅ ÃÆÍ safety features and driver ameÜðîéÆ ç¶ Õ³ÕðÆà ê³ê ÇéðîÅåÅ nities so much better than what ê°å÷îÅÇÂÃàð é¶ ÁÅêäÅ Õ³ÕðÆà ê³Çê³× could have been imagined in the Çð× êÌçðÇôå ÕÆåŠܯ ÇÕ ÁîðÆÕÅ ç¶ 1950’s and 1960’s. ÇòÃÕ¯éÇÃé ÓÚ ÃÇæå À°é·» çÆ øËÕàðÆ ÓÚ¯º Putzmeister, the German ÕËé¶âÅ ÓÚ ÁÅïÅå ÕÆåÅ Ç×ÁÅ Ô°ä åÕ çÅ concrete pump manufacturer, Guneet & Peter at the Expo. Ãí 寺 ò¾âÅ ê³Çê³× Çð× ÔËÍ showed off the largest concrete ÁËÕÃê¯ ÇòÚ ×°éÆå Áå¶ êÆàðÍ ÇÂà ׾âÆ ÓÚ ÇÂ¾Õ Çòô¶ô å½ð Óå¶ ÇåÁÅð pumping rig ever imported into îËÕ ÕËì úòð ÚËÇÃà ñ¾×Å ÔË, ܯ ÇÕ F@ ø°¾à 寺 ñ³îÅ ÔË ÇÜà ÓÚ ÃàÆÁð¶ìñ Canada from their factory in Wisconsin, USA. This particular vehicle incorporated a purpose built Mack cab over chassis, ðÆÁð âðÅÂÆò ÁËÕÃñ ñ¾×¶ Ôé Áå¶ ÇÂà çÆ ê³Çê³× ÃîðæÅ B@@ ø°¾à åÕ ÔËÍ ×¾âÆ é¶ ÇÕÀ±ìËÕ ÜÅäÅ ÃÆ ÇÜ¾æ¶ ÇÂà ù êÌï¯× Õðé çÆ ÇÂÜÅ÷å ñËä over 60 feet long with steerable rear drive axles and a pumping ñÂÆ ÇéðîÅåÅ é¶ ç¯ ÃÅñ» åÕ Õ¯Çôô» Õð Õ¶ êÌîÅä ê¾åð êÌÅêå ÕÆåÅÍ capacity of almost 200 feet. The vehicle was headed to Quebec ÇÜÀ°º-ÇÜÀ°º ÇÂà åð·» çÆÁ» Ô¯ð ×¾âÆÁ» ò¯Õ¶ôéñ îÅðÕÆà ÓÚ çÅõñ where it took the manufacturer nearly two years of effort to get Ô°³çÆÁ» ÜÅ ðÔÆÁ» Ôé, À°Ã¶ åð·» Ô¯ð ê¶ô¶òð âðÅÂÆòð» çÆ òÆ ÷ð±ðå êËçÅ it certified for use in that province.
