A Poem for ParkinsonFonds: Inspiring Positivity I recently entered a poetry competition and wrote a beautiful poem about how we can inspire each other in a positive way. If you enjoy reading it, please consider supporting me by making a small donation to the Parkinson's Fund. If I can collect enough funds, my poem will be judged by a panel of experts. This not only benefits my poetry, but also helps draw attention to my magazine. Will you help me? To donate, click on the following link.

Interview with John Scotter of Shaky Media

Shaky Radio is now Shaky Media After being on air for four continuous years, we have made the difficult decision to shut down Shaky Radio. Despite offering various facilities, we did not achieve our goal of engaging with the Parkinson's community. However, we have launched a new multimedia platform called Shaky Media, which will continue to provide information and support to those in need.

Shaky Media is born! John: "I was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2016. Three years later, at 3 am, I had an incredible idea to start Shaky Radio." Over the course of four years, John developed this platform into a multimedia outlet for the Parkinson's community. Shaky Media offers a wealth of information and support for those who have been diagnosed with Parkinson's, to hopefully allow them to live a full and happy life.

The new design is stunning

Thank you! I designed the website myself with the goal of providing a hub for information and support. Whether it's our own resources or directing visitors to other sources, my aim is to make it easy to find what they are looking for. There are some excellent support sites focused on specialist subjects, which I have made available in one central location. Additionally, the website is designed to be user-friendly, ensuring a seamless experience for all visitors.

Looking for answers on Parkinson’s? Look no further! Our website offers a wide array of resources to help you through your journey. Check out our Parkinson's FAQ's, Exercise Videos for all abilities, and Meditations. We also have ShakyTV, which includes live news channels, Parkinson's related videos, and even some films. For those dealing with Parkinson's related dementia, we have a dedicated page with information and support. We also have a page called Your Story, where you can share your own journey and connect with others. Our website also provides advice on benefits and assistance available to those living with Parkinson's and their caregivers. Finally, don't forget to check out our Arts and Craft page, where you can showcase your creativity in our free galleries.

shakymedia.co.uk Our primary goal is to create a centralized hub for individuals living with Parkinson's disease. They can access helpful information and receive general support to enhance their quality of life. Our website is continually evolving and expanding to meet the needs of our community, with frequent updates and new content.

There is a Newsletter produced monthly. This is posted on the Newsletter page on the website and posted to the social media outlets.

Living with Parkinson's disease can be a challenging reality to face, particularly when dealing with it alone and uninformed. It's crucial to stay informed and connect with others in the community to support each other. Together, we can work towards a brighter future.
