JEANS

Remember a few years ago when patches and embroidery were all the rave on jeans? While I was never a fan of them myself, a great way to repurpose an old pair of jeans is to jazz them up with patches, paint, or bling! A personal favourite of mine is to lightly speckle white paint on light wash blue jeans. It is a subtle but effective way of adding personality to a pre-loved pair of jeans. Pearls also always add a great feminine touch.
MAXI DRESS
No stranger to scissors myself, I love converting old maxi dresses into skirts for a revamped look that can be worn with a figure accentuating belt and a
T-shirt for a casual and fashionable look. While the scissors work best on skirts with a high waistline and elastic that retains its shape, you can always play around with layering on maxi dresses to repurpose them as skirts.
So, as we celebrate the gradual reopening of our countries, and put away our pajamas and loungewear, let us remember the fun and expression that clothing affords us. The possibilities are endless when it comes to creativity with our clothing! You do not need to break the bank to look good, especially given the circumstances of the pandemic. gw

It demands being the priest, king and prophet of your household; constantly raising an altar to God on behalf of the family. Are you really deserving of any of these titles if you have been so called by them? Below are some questions you may just need to answer for some self-appraisal. »
