Looking for a great way to condition your hair without paying a visit to the hair salon? Look no further than your own refrigerator. This hair mask is guaranteed to help revive and rehydrate your hair and is suitable for all hair types, but is especially beneficial for my naturalistas out there.

AN AVOCADO: Avocados are rich in monounsaturated fatty acids, in addition to vitamin E that nourish and strengthen the hair and boost shine.

1 TABLESPOON OF COCONUT OIL:

Coconut oil, aside from its benefits as a skin moisturizer, is also great as a hair moisturizer and helps prevent split ends and dandruff.

1 TABLESPOON OF OLIVE

OIL: Olive oil is rich in vitamin E as well, and stimulates hair growth.

1 BANANA: Bananas are rich in silica which is absorbed by the body for collagen production. Collagen is the protein that hair is composed of.

Your hair mask may not be visible to the human eye…but trust me, your hair is well protected from heat and at the same time super nourished.

1 EGG: Eggs are a nutrient-rich hair superfood that contains Vitamins A, E, biotin, and folate. They are rich in protein and are great for replenishing protein in the hair (as the hair is mostly composed of protein).

DIRECTIONS: Mix together the ingredients in a blender or with a fork and apply liberally to the scalp and hair shaft. Cover with a plastic shower cap for at least 20 minutes, then wash out. Proceed to style hair as usual.

Your hair mask may not be visible to the human eye as what we have on our faces when we go out, but trust me, your hair is well protected from heat and at the same time super nourished. gw
