Nestled in the heart of Gaithersburg, Kentlands Mansion is a breathtaking historic estate that offers a perfect blend of 19th-century charm and modern sophistication. The Details
CAPACITY
Kentlands Mansion can accommodate up to 110 guests for a seated reception and up to 150 for a cocktail-style reception.
CATERING
Kentlands Mansion has an open-catering policy and you are welcome to use the caterer of your choice. All caterers must be licensed and insured. The client is responsible for the selection and negotiation of chosen vendors. The venue does not have a dumpster on site so all trash will need to be removed from the premises.
CEREMONY
Wedding ceremonies may be held on the grounds of Kentlands Mansion including the front lawn, side garden, and indoor spaces. The ceremony fee includes the setup and take down of chairs.
DRESSING ROOMS
Two dressing rooms are provided on the second floor of the Mansion, each with a private bathroom.
EQUIPMENT AND RENTALS
Kentlands Mansion will provide the tables and chairs for your event. Linens, projectors, flipcharts, easels, a screen, and a podium may be rented for a nominal fee. Wireless internet is available on-site.
FINAL APPOINTMENT
A final appointment is held before the event. The event logistics including floor plan and timeline will be determined. The renter will need to provide contact information of all selected vendors along with the final guest count and “day of contact.”
PARKING
Complimentary parking is provided on Briscoe Street, Selby Street, and Inspiration Lane surrounding the Mansion.
STAFFING
Kentlands Mansion will provide two (2) staff members who will be available throughout your rental.
TOURS
Facility tours are conducted Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
