Di tutti e cinque i sensi l’olfatto è, senz’altro, il più importante. Le fragranze hanno il potere di rendere unico un individuo o un ambiente e a questa esclusività si ispira Officina delle Essenze nel confezionare le proprie creazioni

La storia. Tutto inizia negli anni Cinquanta, la famiglia Lembo ha una profumeria tra le strade del centro di Roma. Siamo in pieno boom economico e nell’aria si respira ancora il profumo della Dolce Vita, le Cinquecento sono uno status symbol e l’Italia ha gli occhi del mondo addosso. Gli stranieri ammirano Cinecittà, desiderano i prodotti italiani, unici per qualità e stile. Da lì a breve lo spirito creativo dell’epoca, fatto di intuizioni, lusso e unicità, sarà esportato in tutto il mondo sotto il nome di Made in Italy. In questo suggestivo contesto inizia il sogno di Maurizio Lembo Respira i profumi sin da bambino e dal trascorrere interi pomeriggi nella bottega di fragranze del padre nasce la sua esperienza nella profumeria artigianale e di nicchia. Una passione che nel 2001 si è trasformata in Officina delle Essenze.

Profumi di nicchia. La creazione di queste piccole opere d’arte nasconde un mondo poco conosciuto, fatto di nasi alla continua ricerca di ispirazione, emozioni trasformate in essenze. Questo e molto altro si cela dietro i profumi di nicchia e il loro voler essere per natura unici, fatti a mano. Si può dire che quest’ultimi siano caratterizzati da tre parole chiave: continuità, coerenza e unicità.

Emozioni da vivere. Officina delle Essenze ci regala un mondo di fragranze da vivere nel quotidiano, pensate sia per la persona - dalle fresche acque di colonia ai sofisticati eau de parfum - che per l’ambiente - dai diffusori ambiente con bacchette, alle pistole spray fino al kit pensato per profumare le auto. Non c’è nulla che possa farci immergere in uno spazio e un tempo lontano più di un profumo, evocando paesaggi, ricordi e sensazioni che diventano subito vivide e vicine.

Sicilia. Sicilia racconta un viaggio senza tempo alla scoperta della grande pasticceria palermitana. Una fragranza densa, ricca e liquorosa, dove pasta alle Mandorle, Scorze di Arancia e Vaniglia si intrecciano in un caldo e profondo abbraccio.

Fresco bosco. La fragranza riporta ad una passeggiata in salita tra i sempreverdi, all’alba di un sole tiepido che si alza dietro al ghiacciaio. L’odore tipico dei sentieri alpini, il suono dei passi tra le foglie, l’alito fresco del bosco che tempra lo spirito.

History. It all starts in the 1950s, when Lembo family had a perfumery in the streets of the centre of Rome. We are at the peak of the economic boom and the scent of La Dolce Vita is still in the air, Cinquecento cars are a status symbol and Italy has the eyes of the world on it. Foreigners admire Cinecittà, they desire Italian products, that are unique in quality and style. Soon after, the creative spirit of the era, made of insights, luxury and uniqueness, will be exported all over the world under the name of Made in Italy Maurizio

Lembo’s dream begins in this evocative context. He has been breathing fragrances since childhood, when he spent entire afternoons in his father’s fragrance store. From that background came his experience in artisanal and niche perfumery. A passion that in 2001 turned into Officina delle Essenze.

This and much more hides behind niche perfumes and their desire to be naturally unique, handmade. Puro Lino. Puro Lino diffuses a fresh, refined scent of laundry into the air. Its theme tickles our memory with all the peace and serenity of white sheets warmed by the wind Sicilia. Sicilia recounts a timeless journey of discovery of great Palermitan bakery. A dense, rich and liqueur-like fragrance where Almond paste, Orange Peel and Vanilla intertwine in a warm and deep embrace. Fresco bosco. The fragrance brings back a walk uphill among the evergreens, the dawn of a warm sun rising behind the glacier.
