So-called time machines are not just devices, places or documents. There are also people who have the ability to make us travel between the past, present and future. Morto a 93 anni ha lavorato fino agli ultimi giorni, alle sue trasmissioni TV , ai suoi libri e ai suoi contributi alla crescita della cultura popolare. Tutti lo ricordano con affetto, ammirazione e gratitudine, per almeno tre ragioni. Ha inaugurato magistralmente la divulgazione di massa in tv, poi imitato da altri. Ha lasciato come degno erede al suo posto il figlio Alberto. E soprattutto ha creato un primo nucleo di scuola italiana per raccontare tutto quello che sembra difficile ai più: storia, scienze, tecnologia, natura, economia, educazione sessuale e civica. Ricordando sempre a tutti, ma ai giovani in particolare, con pacatezza ma convinzione profonda, che non esiste progresso civile senza studio, ricerca, consapevolezza e curiosità. for what we and our world will be.
