Task 1
My thoughts was that this task was alot of fun and seeing things from another perspective is very helpful in forming new ideas for designs in the future. It was nice to use our imagaination because in life different objects can be used for different things.

Task 2 Map
My thoughts was that I wanted the map to be very simple but have a level of depth. The gold pyramids with the dophins next to each one was my way of showing the importance of the dolphins and there is a dolphin for each pyramid. The blue was representing the sea that surounds the island.

Manifesto My thoughts was to lay out the foundation of the island and show the way in which it was structured and the different ways in which this unique society was governed.

Logo For Dystopia
My thoughts was to let the importance of the seven dophins be known as the central body to this socity. I also wanted to experientment with the different colours to see which colours looked the best using my alphabet and the pointilism technique.

Manifesto Developed My thoughts was I had to start to look at presentation and lay out in more detail on the manifesto. The format of the story was just written in green text with only three dolphins showing. It didn’t express the fact that there were seven dophins governing the island so I had to ensure that seven dophins was always present in all of my pictures. Also I added colour to the rainbow silence title to give character and to give a true reflection of the colours on the island.

Screen-print
My thoughts was this was the beginning of me using the seven dolphins in this format to have a consistant representation of the importance of the seven gornerning dophins.

Task 3
My thoughts was to have a easy fun filled way to doing the alphabet and numbers. Putting in light changes using a simple pointilism technique this was conceived by the fact I was playing with a ying and yang logo and some how I started writing this format of alphabet.

Rainbow Silence
My thoughts was to use the principle of using the alphabet I had created to form the name for the island. I liked how it looked yet it came to life when using the colours of the rainbow to form the words.

Task 4
My thoughts was that I really liked the colour purple, this was just a simple look at shadows and light and the different ways in which it can be used.

Task 4 Developed My thoughts was how nice the colour yellow looked with the purple writing I really enjoyed playing with this colour sequence. This colour can be enchanced with light and shadow to express many different mood types for advertising or film purposes and there is no doubt I will be using this colour settings in the near future. I’m trying to put into words why I think these colours work on more than one dimension, I can only state that I’m going to do something exciting with these colours.

My thoughts was to form a picture aligment of the dystopia but the message I was trying to express wasn’t strong enough to give the veiwer the full picture of what I was trying to say using this image. I was trying to say the weren’t welcomed. So I looked at ways to change this to meet my critea. My thoughts was to show how I used Cinema 4D to create this and what the process was.

My thoughts was I like the yellow backdrop and I was working on the ideas of which colours I like the most.
My thoughts was that there is something very striking about this blue back ground.
My thoughts was moving the lay out of the dolphins to see the nicest setting.
My thoughts was that changing the positioning or layout of the dolphins didnt make much difference because the blue is so powerful.

Task 5 Development 3 My thoughts was at this point to go through the different colours to get an idea of what I liked best.
Task 5 Development 4 My thoughts was that the purple is nice but too much for the check boxes to be seen properly.

My thoughts was that moving the dolphin position had no effect on the picture it presented. My thoughts was that the blue backdrop would work to give a sea or ocean effect but the light blue used in the check boxes could be more effective as a sea background than in the check boxes.

My thoughts was you can clearly see that the dolphins are not wanted from the big x running through the middle of the dolphins.
My thoughts was that I needed to add more to the idea of what I’m trying to bring across because again at this point I knew I was going to remove the check boxes from the picture.
My thoughts was that changing a big x into a small x in the check boxes makes so little difference to the over all picture.
My thoughts was just to make the x in the check box smaller to see how it would look. It wasn’t noticable and it didn’t help in bringing forward what I wanted to say.

Task 5 Development 7 My thoughts was using three different x’s with three dolphins that it should stand out more and give more clarity to the message.
Final Outcomes My thoughts was sometimes simple is best, I like the way the message came across without trying too hard to express it. Then when I put the rainbow touch to the picture below it worked well.
My thoughts was that using a bigger x to remove all three dolphins in one go might have a stronger look.

Task 6
My thoughts was on my screen shots of me putting the book together. The colours in the rainbow bring me joy so I just wanted to finish the book.

My thoughts was I still don’t like the three dolphines together after the story lay out. Yet I really like the different colours within the D7 alphabet pointillism.

My thoughts on this screen shot was that the pointillism alphabet was cool and even in black and white the title is very loud and strong.
