DISTRICT FOUR PATROL

ABOUT DISTRICT FOUR

District Four has the largest call volume of the five patrol districts. Features encompassed in District Four in include a Fed Ex hub, The Berry Center, Grand Parkway, Katy Freeway, and Towne Lake. Marcus Kinnard-Bing is the captain.

ABOUT CAPTAIN MARCUS KINNARD-BING

Captain Marcus Kinnard-Bing is a 30-year veteran of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. During his tenure he has worked in warrants, three patrol districts, detentions, and served as watch commander for both patrol and detentions. Captain KinnardBing is a graduate of the FBI National Academy (Session 252) and has the following degrees: Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts, Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, and Master of Science in Criminal Justice Leadership & Management.

DISTRICT FOUR COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

(Left) District 3 deputies and members of the Windstone Colony community enjoy National Night Out.

(Right) Major Cotter along with the Neighborhood Policing Division and District 3 deputies welcome Corporal Sue Downes to her new home in the Towne Lake community.

(Left) Chick-fil-a along with several other local businesses showed their appreciation to our District 3 deputies by delivering delicious hot meals to the station.

(Right) Deputies Aguirre and McCloud took time to engage with the kids in the community with some football!

DISTRICT FOUR CRIME REDUCTION UNIT (CRU) ACTIVITY

(Left) The District 4 Crime Reduction Unit and Gang Unit seized numerous firearms in the Katy/West Harris County are from criminal gang member. All were taken into custody and booked in on Felony and Misdemeanor charges.

(Right) During narcotics operations in West Harris County, D4 Crime Reduction Unit found 27 kilos of Cocaine, 16.3 kilos of Meth, 26 kilos of liquid Meth, and a stolen handgun.

(Left) D4 Crime Reduction Unit apprehended 2 subjects casing a local business in Katy, Harris County. Subjects evaded in a stolen vehicle and crashed into a residential house.

(Right) D4 CRU attempted to conduct a traffic stop in W. Harris County at Cannon Fire & W. Little York. Driver refused to stop & led deputies on a long pursuit that ended at the 6700 blk of Greenhouse. Violent offender was arrested for Evading.

DISTRICT FOUR PATROL ACTIVITY

(Left) D4 deputies removed a stolen gun & illegal drugs from a MUD#167 neighborhood.

(Right) The Barker Cypress & 529 McDonald’s was robbed at gunpoint by 2 violent perpetrators, who then fled the scene. On high alert, D4 deputies spotted the suspect vehicle and were able to stop & apprehend the suspects.

(Left) District 4 deputies responded to a shooting at McRoberts Elementary School, with one victim down with a gunshot wound. Multiple suspects fled the scene, but were quickly captured by the HCSO.

(Right) District 4 deputies responded to a weapons disturbance that lead to the seizure of 246 pounds of marijuana, THC edibles, $108,804 in cash. Street value of drugs is over $1,000,000.00.
