ABOUT DISTRICT TWO

District Two is the second most populous district serving a population of 441,307. Features encompassed in District Two include the Aldine Town Center, Hardy Toll Road, Beltway 8, and Lake Houston. Donald Wine is the Captain.

ABOUT CAPTAIN DONALD WINE

Captain Donald Wine is a 29 year veteran of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. During his tenure he has worked in detentions, child abuse, robbery, internal affairs, and patrol. He is a U.S. Air Force veteran and a recipient of the Commendation Medal for Heroism. He has an Associate’s of Applied Science Degree in Law Enforcement, and is a graduate of the HCSO Leadership Development Institute. He received the Galveston Police Academy Academic Achievement Award, Crime Stopper Crime Fighting award, and the HCSO Merit award.

DISTRICT TWO COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

DISTRICT TWO CRIME REDUCTION UNIT (CRU) ACTIVITY

(Left) D2 CRU taking large amounts of narcotics off the streets.

(Right) D2 CRU conducted a traffic stop and took a male and female into custody for unlawful carry of a weapon and possession. Female was out on bond for Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon.

(Left) The Sheriff visits D2 CRU Team!

(Right) District 2 Crime Reduction Units attempted to stop a vehicle near Airline Dr/Tidwell Rd. and led deputies on a short pursuit. This traffic stop resulted in the seizure of 5 kg of methamphetamine. Great job guys!

DISTRICT TWO PATROL ACTIVITY

(Left) District 2 units responded to a reported drive-by shooting, pursued and captured the suspect after he attempted to elude from the Kings Lake Forest subdivision!

(Right) District 2 Deputies confiscate a pistol with a high capacity magazine along with a substantial amount of marijuana.

(Left) After an alert citizen reported an in-progress theft, District 2 deputies recover several stolen catalytic converter after arresting both suspects responsible.

(Right) District two deputy was out on a follow up at local business when this guy walks in to rob the place. Our deputy sees the guy walking in with an extended mag sticking out of the bag. Surprise!! In custody.
