HAVEN FOR HOPE “Homelessness is Not One Dimensional. The Solution isn’t either.” Haven for Hope offers over 300 services and resources to Bexar County men, women, and children on the Transformation Campus. Adults only from other cities can reside on the Courtyard as they all seek to overcome barriers to their “houseless or jobless” situation, or overcoming other root causes of their homelessness. Recovery Teams first concentrate on finding housing, sustainable income, and help to apply for benefits. Other services include medical, spiritual, and veteran services, GED classes, trauma counseling, ID recovery, some legal services, mental health and addiction recovery, and much more.
The interim CEO, Molly Biglari, announced on August 26 that “we are holding strong against the Delta variant.” Very few clients and staff have tested positive.
