Caterpillar 340 Excavator

The Cat 340 Hydraulic Excavator features a more powerful engine, wider track and 7.5-ton counterweight to increase productivity by 10% over the 2020 model year Cat 336. Power mode delivers power to meet demanding tasks; Smart mode automatically matches engine and hydraulic power to digging conditions to lower fuel consumption. Reducing engine speed to a constant 1500 rpm, Eco mode minimizes fuel consumption. Synchronized 1,000-hour oil and fuel filter service intervals reduce downtime. The extended intervals also eliminate labor cost for nine oil and fuel filter changes.

The 463-hp ZX670LC-6 and 512-hp ZX870LC-6 are powered by fuel-efficient Isuzu engines that meet Tier 4 Final without the need for a diesel particulate filter, and deliver generous swing torque, digging force and lifting capacity. The units feature 154,103- and 188,716-lb. operating weights, bucket force of 72,838 and 89,699 lbs. (ISO) and dig depths of 30 ft. and 31 ft. 5 in. An expansion tank in cooling system enhances air pursing, provides make-up fluid when needed and improves overall cooling efficiency. Battery disconnect switch, spin-on fuel filters, two additional water separators, engine and hydraulic oil sample ports and an improved step position on the upperstructure track frame and walkways provide simplified maintenance.

Case SV215E and SV217E Vibratory Rollers

The 154-hp SV215E and the SV217E weigh 33,420 and 36,500 lbs. and deliver centrifugal force up to 73,063 and 74,861 lbs., respectively.

Komatsu PC210LCE Electric Excavator

The PC210LCE was created for construction businesses that need a high-performance machine. The excavator has 451 kWh of battery capacity and is designed for up to eight hours of operating time. The lithiumion battery technology was developed by Proterra. Designed to reduce operator fatigue with less noise, exhaust emissions and zero engine vibration.

Volvo EC500 Crawler Excavator

Volvo CE's EC500 excavator is a new 50-ton crawler excavator for tough applications. It's a partner for the Volvo A25G to A35G hauler and a successor to the Volvo EC480E. A notable change can be seen in the cabin design and styling, with new layout and features including high-definition co-pilot screen, keyless engine start, wired and wireless smart phone charging and new work mode switch. This next generation excavator is set up to access a range of machine options to help operators.

CASE E-series

The models of E-series excavators focus on operator performance and control, as well as total cost of ownership. They include OEM-fit 2D and 3D machine control systems. A major enhancement in the cab is the 10-in. LCD display that provides access and visibility to cameras, machine data and controls. This includes the optional CASE Max View display, which provides 270° of visibility. CASE has added new FPT Industrial engines throughout the product line, along with new enhancements to the hydraulic systems for power and performance. The system has 13 patents that supports emissions compliance and performance.

Komatsu PC900LC-11 Excavator

Built for tough jobs that require high performance, the Komatsu PC900LC-11 excavator is a versatile machine. The excavator is designed for heavy construction, demolition, material handling, deep sewer, water, large mass excavation and mining or quarry. The 842-hp PC900LC-11 was featured in Komatsu's booth at CONEXPO-CON/ AGG 2023. The PC900LC-11 offers major design enhancements compared to the earlier model. The new counterweight removal system helps with moving and the boom configuration.

Caterpillar RM600 and RM800 Reclaimer/ Stabilizers

The new Caterpillar RM600 and RM800 reclaimer/stabilizers compete at the high end of the reclaimer/stabilizer size class with an allnew adjustable height design capable of cross-slope cutting. Their turbocharged Cat C18 engine gives the RM600 up to 17% more power than the RM500B. The RM800 delivers up to 42% more power than the RM500B and up to 23% more power than the RM600. These reclaimer/stabilizer models adopt rotor system components from Cat cold planers for cutting and mixing.

Ammann ARS 30 and ARS 50

Ammann has launched two new single drum rollers for construction sites, the ARS 30 and ARS 50. These products are the most compact rollers in Ammann’s soil compaction product line. The ARS 30 and ARS 50 are designed for road construction businesses and rental fleets that need compact, durable and powerful performance. These rollers are capable of compacting a wide range of materials and flexible via smooth or padfoot drum options. Due to their compaction power and maneuverability, the machines can be used in small landscaping projects, forest roads, municipal roads and walking or bicycle paths.

The ARS 30 and ARS 50 are equipped with Kubota V2403-CR-T diesel engines with EGR+DOC+DPF (without SCR) after-treatment technology. Engine power output is 43.2 kW (58 hp).
