ASPHALT ROLLERS

BOMAG BW206AD-5 Tandem Vibratory Roller

Wacker Neuson Expanded RD Series Ride-on Rollers

The expanded RD series Tier 4

Final rollers include 15 tandem and combination models with operating weights from 1.8 to 4.5 tons.

• 10 tandem models with vibration or oscillation drums and five combination models

• Drum widths range from 31.5 to 54.4

• Three-point articulated pendulum joint

Volvo DD128C

Powered by a 148-hp Volvo D4 Tier 4 Final engine, the DD128C delivers fast rolling speeds while maintaining proper compaction spacing with the Impact Spacing Meter.

• Includes a 79-in.-wide front drum with chamfer and radii drum edges and a 55-in.-diameter rear drum and auto-reversing eccentrics

• Automatic drum wetting systems on both drums

• Assist Intelligent Compaction System

The 30,643-lb. BW206AD-5 highway class roller's 55.1-in. drum diameter and 84.1-in. compaction width help prevent mat pushing and shoving and the potential for bow waves in front of the drum, even at higher speeds on tender mats. 3,000-vpm low frequency and 0.031-in. amplitude deliver maximum compaction output of 39,116 lbs. 4,200-vpm high frequency. Available crab walk steering mode offsets the front and rear drums by up to 6.7 in. to the left or right, 140-hp Tier 4 Final engine.

Caterpillar CB10

The 10-metric-ton CB10 asphalt compactor can be equipped with a combination of oscillatory and vibratory drums.

• Front drum available in two amplitude, five amplitude or Versa-Vibe systems that provides initial compaction

• Rear drum with optional oscillatory system utilizes pod-style eccentric weight technology for optimal smoothness and density

• Durable power-transmission employs a belt-drive system

• Infra-red mat temperature sensors

Tandem Roller

GW754 Vibratory Pneumatic Roller

The Sakai GW754 vibratory pneumatic tire roller is widely versatile for various types of materials from hot mix asphalt (HMA) mixes to soils.

• Vibrating tires massage materials dynamically and compact them more uniformly which helps to cut operating cost on job site by the versatility and high compactive efforts

• Tier 4 final Kubota V3800 turbo charged engine, rated at 110 hp and equipped passive regeneration

• Traveling speed of 7.5 mph

The innovative design roller features two long-life rechargeable batteries that provide enough power needed for a typical workday. Two high-efficiency electric motors independently control the drum vibration and travel/steering, so only one motor is needed for travel mode to conserve power. Perfect for working at night or in urban areas with its low noise/zero emissions operation.

Ammann eARX 26-2

Ammann has unveiled the eARX 26-2 Light Tandem Roller for construction projects. The roller features a fully electric drive that can operate for 18 hours or longer without recharging.

Mauldin 6000 Asphalt Roller

The 6000 asphalt roller features a 6,000-lb. operating weight and a 24-hp Kubota engine.

• Adjustable 2-in. drum offset

• Large-diameter drum

The absence of a combustion engine makes the eARX 26-2 quiet during operation. Sound levels reaching the operation station are 46% less compared to the diesel version. The powertrain concept eliminates almost all hydraulic components. Standard features are drum construction, operator platform and engine compartment.
