Due to unforeseen circumstance Ethan and Kevin were tasked operation and maintenance of our Water Treatment facility for a week. When I visited the plant, I noticed both of them staying on tasks with their lab work, maintenance upkeep and making their rounds. There were some equipment malfunctions, water increases as well as a pump failure and both proved they were up for whatever task came their way I was quite impressed as Kevin has only been with us for 4 weeks and Ethan is a C Operator It is nice to see what quality and dedicated employees we have on staff at the Water Treatment facility, Al should be proud how these two employees stepped up without complaining.

Great job Ethan and Kevin.

MATEO SALCIDO

Mateo recently moved from a part time employee to full time and was promoted to 1st Assistant to the Golf Professional at Quail Dunes Golf Course. He started working at the golf course in 2019 when he was 16 years old, as a seasonal Outside Services Attendant and then moved to part time when he graduated from high school in 2021. Working at Quail Dunes has helped him become who he is today, and he wakes up every day excited to come to work and help grow the game of golf.

Mateo grew up in Fort Morgan and has lived here all his life except for three years when he lived in California Fort Morgan is a place that he is glad to call home When he is not at work, he spends a lot of time playing golf with his dad and his friends. Golf is a passion for Mateo and always will be. Other than golf, he spends his free time going to concerts and sports games. He is a big fan of the Broncos and the Colorado Avalanche.

BUSINESS OF THE MONTH

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING

Kaycee and her team did an amazing job for our window decals at our cafe. Very friendly, professional, and good prices too!

KC'S GRAPHICS

Great customer service. Great job on my project. Highly recommended.

Went to KC graphics to get something ordered and they did an awesome job, thank you!

From the beginning, Kasie George, owner and operator of KC’s Graphics, started supporting others. She has donated her time and talents to such groups as Special Olympics basketball, suicide awareness, the Morgan Community College Gala, Back the Blue and Behind the Badge In fact, Back the Blue committee members said that a special sticker project would not have been possible without the support of Kasie.

KC’s Graphics and Double R Embroidery, in fact, have great respect for the Fort Morgan Police Department and have sponsored Police Appreciation coffee events.

McDonald’s Toyota, another local business, also recognized Kasie with its Good Neighbor Award. Her reputation for the caring of others continues to amaze many.

BUSINESS OF THE MONTH

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING

When other small businesses were in need of a boost but were without a physical location, she sponsored special pop-up events for Discovery Toy and Zazzy’s Café. She continues to take an active role in the Fort Morgan Downtown Business Association with various cooperative projects, including the Trick or Treat Street and Christmas holiday promotion efforts The business is also a Fort Morgan Chamber member KC’s Graphics has been a site for the Elf on a Store Shelf promotion as well as for the community art walk. When a recently married young couple experienced a personal tragedy, Kasie donated funds from the sale of a special t-shirt made in their honor to help offset funeral and hospital expenses. Remember – she has been open less than five years

The Business of the Month recipient has been showered with positive 5-star ratings and accolades for her commitment to customer service and quality product. A few of the comments include:

“Great job on my project. Highly recommended.”

“Kaycee and her team did an amazing job for our window decals at our café Very friendly, professional, and good prices, too!”

“Excellent selection of products to choose from and the work is spot on. My company ’ s work shirts look great! Would recommend KC’s to anyone looking for custom clothing for events or staff of a business.”

KC’s Graphics is relatively new to our downtown area. The business, comprised of Kasie and her 4 employees, opened its doors on October 1, 2019, and just recently completed its first full year of operations last year During that short timeframe, she has already expanded, adding two new printers to her inventory – one used for banners, signs and decals, and the other directto-film printer for shirts. This allows for more colorful options and faster productivity. She has also started displaying printed merchandise at the Brush Emporium.

KC'S GRAPHICS

Each month, the Business of the Month distinction is given to a Fort Morgan business that excels in such areas as pride in their business, top-notch customer service, growth, active involvement in area organizations and programs, and community contributions that assist in creating a better quality of life.

We congratulate Kasie George, along with her 4 employees for the outstanding work and contributions they continue to provide in order to make Fort Morgan a great place to live, work, and enjoy.
