Algy’s Café & Catering Algy Semetas grew up on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. His extensive experience in the hospitality industry ranges from owning and operating a number of restaurants and bars, as well as being GM of the famous Frankston International Motel. Twenty-three years ago, Algy set up shop here in Coffs Harbour - starting with Vogue’s Restaurant, which was located down on Coffs Harbour infamous Jetty Strip. He then took over Coffs Harbour’s famous Molly Malone’s Fish and Chip Shop. He owned and operated Molly Malone’s for over eight years. In early 2000, Algy took over the bistro at the old Plantation Hotel, commonly known as Molly’s Bistro. Subsequently he owned and operated Jaks Café in Orlando Street. Finally, for the past five years Algy has owned and operated Algy’s Café in Industrial Drive in the fabulous Isles Drive Estate.
