Problem or complaint
We believe it is important that you, as an employee, always have somewhere to turn with questions, problems, complaints or uncertainties. And that you can count on what you share being treated confidentially. We explain the options available to you here.
Internal confidant
Of course, you can go to your manager with questions and problems to begin with. However, situations may arise that you would rather not share with your supervisor.
For example, if you: experience unwelcome behaviour in the workplace, such as bullying, sexual harassment or discrimination; have a conflict with a colleague or your supervisor and you cannot work things out together; feel that you cannot get a hearing from your manager for your questions or problems; something you are ashamed of or insecure about.
In that case, you can contact one of the internal confidential counsellors. They offer a listening ear and can think with you about what you can do. They will never share anything about these conversations with anyone else, unless you give your permission. The internal confidential counsellors are:
Mariska Lamboo, HR adviser. She can be reached at 06-45536702 or mlamboo@fmgroup.fm; Berco Vendrik, Assistant Manager Internal Logistics. He can be reached at 06-54392748 or bvendrik@fmgroup.fm. Asia Dabrowska, Packer. She can be reached at 0297-332699 or a.dabrowska@hilverdadeboer.nl
Gerda Ezink, Receptionist/Telephonist. She can be reached at 0297-332585 or g.ezink@hilverdadeboer.nl Ilja Kniep, Forwarding Officer. She can be reached at 0297-332820 or i.kniep@hilverdadeboer.nl

Complaints procedure for inappropriate behaviour
If you wish to make a formal complaint regarding undesirable behaviour (see company regulations), the complaints procedure applies. Complaints are handled with the utmost care.
The complaints committee consists of:
Nina van Hooidonk - HR adviser; John Diemeer - Purchasing coordinator; nominated by the Works Council; Ronald Verheij - Lawyer (external).
The complaints committee can be reached at klachtencommissie@fmgroup.fm
Whistleblower scheme
The Whistleblower Procedure applies if you want to report suspected wrongdoing where the public interest is at stake. That is at: the violation of a legal requirement; a danger to public health; a danger to the safety of persons; a danger of environmental degradation; a danger to the proper functioning of the public service or an enterprise as a result of improper acts or omissions.
There must be a reasonable suspicion of wrongdoing. Again, an internal procedure applies. Under certain circumstances, you can report to an external body: The House for Whistleblowers. You can do this if: given the circumstances, going through the internal procedure cannot be required of you; or the internal procedure has been followed but the reported suspicion has not been properly dealt with.
The Whistleblower Regulation is a comprehensive and complex procedure, based on the legal regulations. In case of questions about the procedure or if you are in doubt whether the regulation applies, you can always ask the Confidential Advisor.
