SAVE the DATE!

Volunteers, Parents and Kids

Praising God!

We thank God for His leadership and provision even as we are thankful for the gifts of our members over the past several years to make yesterday's announcement a reality. We are thankful for the Future Story Capital Campaign Committee's faithful work to lead us in retiring the $1.5 million note that was needed to complete the $2.6 million capital campaign project. Your commitment, First Baptist Church family, to the Lord and the work of his church is a blessing! Pictured here: Bob Watson, Project Coordinator, presents the "paid in full" note to Danny Hawkins, Chairman of Deacons.

Bereavement Ministry!

We thank God for the faithful ministry of all our members who serve with our Bereavement Team. When Jennifer Burnette receives the call from the church office that an FBC member has passed away, she begins a process of ministry to care for the family. This process includes contacting the family about how our church can bring them a meal on the day of the funeral. Our members then lovingly bring the foods they are assigned and a card, as pictured here, is given with the meal as a reminder of our love for one another in the time of loss. Thank you all for your response to these needs. And, if you would like to serve in this way, you can call us in the church office and we will communicate your desire to Jennifer.

Coming June 13-17, 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM, FBC Day Camp will lead kids ages 4 Years through 5th Grade to learn from the Bible about God’s gift of His creation and His ongoing work therein! This will be our Vacation Bible School 2022 and we anticipate it be “very good” indeed! Save the date to serve and to bring your children! And....
