The Gardner-Webb University Concert Choir is a select ensemble of mixed voices representing various disciplines and studies at Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, North Carolina. The ensemble is committed to the excellent performance of a diversity of repertoire that is representative of many styles, cultures, and people. Concert Choir performs often and can be found concertizing at home in Boiling Springs as well as around North Carolina and neighboring states. The group is under the direction of Dr. Joshua Cheney, the Director of Choral Activities at Gardner-Webb University, and is joined in performance by Mr. Timothy Scruggs, Collaborative Artist and University Organist. The ensemble will return to the annual Spring Tour tradition in 2022, offering performances in the Piedmont, Triad, and Triangle regions of North Carolina.

Women’s Ministry Bible Study Gatherings

Sundays at 3:00 p.m. in the Youth Center March 6 – April 10 FBC Ladies you are invited to join together around the study of the Bible as we take six weeks to examine Cindi Wood’s book, “Blood Clots: Blockages to Experiencing the Resurrection Power of Christ.” This six-week Bible study lays out the tools to live victoriously, by laying claim to the incomparably great power available to us through Christ even amid life’s storms and struggles. Sign-up by February 24 by calling Micki Padgett at 704-428-1199. The cost of the book is $15. Cindi Wood and Micki Padgett will facilitate the studies as you gather.

Calling FBC Youth -- Time to Think "Summer Camp!"

Parents and Youth begin now to prepare for summer by signing up for Summer Camp! See Artur about the sign-up form and the your deposit to reserve your spot with our FBC Youth Group heading to Crossroads Camp at Anderson University in Anderson, SC this summer leaving on Sunday, June 26 and returning on Friday, July 1. Deposits for Crossroads Summer Camp are due now -- Deposit is $25 per student. Contact Artur for any questions about payments and camp details! GCCBA is in need of a group to provide bag lunches for our Friday Feed the Hungry Lunch Program. The groups that sign up are asked to bring 75 lunch bags with sandwiches, chips, and cookies and drop them off on the backside of First Baptist Church in downtown Shelby. You are welcome to stay and help hand them out if you would like or feel free to drop them off. Contact Katie Harris to sign up: katie@gccba.org.

Currently we have a critical need for Weekday Ministries TEACHERS in full-day, full-time and part-time day care, as well as, part-time, half-day care. Please share this need with those who'd be interested and have them call for information, application and interview to 704-482-3460.
